  1. Ahh well. The surprises of the sleeve continue. At least I'm not the only one.
  2. I would stick with thinner Soups and liquids/pudding consistency foods. You don't want to cause something to get stuck and cause discomfort before it's addressed. You probably had an esophageal dilitation. The results are generally temporary, although they usually last longer than a few months so I'm not sure about that. The delayed gastric emptying should be addressed, though.
  3. Firstly, you definitely need to consult with your surgeon/GI doctor. I would stop food and just do clear liquids while you await a response. It sounds like you're creating food occlusions. I would evaluate the type and quantity of food/liquids you have been ingesting. Did you have severe coughing or vomiting after the sleeve? Those symptoms do sound like esophageal narrowing which can result from strictures or hiatal hernias. Most importantly, be honest with your healthcare team. They can't treat you if they don't know the whole picture. Get fluids in if you comfortably can, and see your MD ASAP.
  4. Hello everyone. I'm usually just a lurker but getting frustrated and seeking answers. I was able to consume 1/2 cup of Soup, some tuna/canned chicken, egg, pudding, and Relatively easy to digest foods for the past 3 weeks. I actually felt good until a few days ago. I can't even finish 1/4th cup of soup anymore. I feel like my restriction is getting worse without changes in what I'm eating. Just to clarify, no discomfort, on a PPI, etc etc. Is this common 6 weeks out? Thank you.
