1st 2 1/2 weeks post op I lost 26lbs! Crazy right!? Got my 1st fill of 2.4 cc on 11/1. I don't eat more the 4 to 6 ozs at a time. I don't get hungry between meals. I'm eating a fraction of my pre-band diet but I haven't lost a pound in weeks. I have added more carbs with yogurt and cottage cheese, is this the reason for no lose? I thought I would have more weight lose initially. Is this my 1st plateau 4 weeks out? :faint:

Hunger's Back! Will the fill work?

I got my band 10-12-07. 1st couple of weeks I had NO hunger. Lost 25lbs! Then out of "nowhere" I was hungry all the time. I would eat a small portion and be starving 1 hour later. I got my 1st fill yesterday (11/1) of 2.4cc. I feel much better. I was on all liquids yesterday and was not hungry at all. Today I've done mostly liquids and 1 portion of soft food and I feel fine. So for now, my 1st fill worked, I hope your fill goes as well. -
That's right, my husband said since I got banded 10-12-07, that I have bad breath. I brush daily! Never had this problem before. Am I dehydrated? The most liquid I can get down in one sitting is about 3 oz. and I'm not even sure I know how to sip. I feel bloated and uncomfortable after I drink and it doesn't go away for hours. :help:

Great question, I was wondering that myself. I had my surgery 10-12-07. I think my husband might be to more scared to do "something" than I am. -
Hi Everyone! This is my 1st ever post. My surgery is tomorrow 10-12-07. I'm having a hard time expressing my feelings. Maybe it's because this pre-op liquid diet is making me very irritable. With all my insurance woes and family obligations it's taken me a year to get to this point. Am I ready? My heart tells me yes:whoo:... but my stomach... well that's another story.:think

Thanks for the love. Everything went great! The GAS is killer, that's my biggest complaint. Feeling pretty good 3 days post-op
