  1. @Ky89. Ok, that explains it. Well, I wish you all the best. I hope we can follow you on you journey. Best.
  2. @RJ'S/beginning. Thanks for the thoughtful response. I just wondered if my lack of the 64 ozs was the reason for my very slow loss. I will keep trying to increase my intake. The thing is I was not a huge water drinker prior to surgery. Ate fruits and veggies so I guess I was getting water from those sources as my urine was always clear. I guess my body is not used to it, as I'm never thirsty.
  3. @RJ'S/beginning You mentioned your water intake when pulling in the reins on regain. At over three months out I have YET to get 64ozs of water in a day. Some days I come close, say 6 cups, but tthat's me drinking until 10 pm. Then in the bathroom ALL night. UGH! I come up with a different plan every day. It never works out. Just haven't been able to do it. If I drink too much, too fast I get horrible heartburn. Yes, I take Dexilant. So, how did you do with your water intake while you were losing?

    New Protein Bar

    Thanks for the info.
  5. @Ky89. Are you having surgery in Japan or US?
  6. @Noragretz. I arranged for someone to drop me in front of the hospital on the morning of surgery and the same person came back and picked me up the next day. I simply said I was having a procedure. He asked no questions and I didn't volunteer any info. He also took me to get my pain meds on the way home. I actually walked into the pharmacy myself while he stayed in the car. The hospital would not allow you to go home alone.
  7. Nope, you are not the only one. I happily told zero people and I'm so glad. I don't have the stress of anyone looking at my progress and asking for updates. This is not a show, it's my life. The two people I would've shared this with, is no longer on this earth. BTW, at my pre op appt the nurse asked who would be with me on the day of surgery and I told her no one. I then told her no one new I was having the surgery. I asked her if she had anyone besides me not tell anyone. She replied " several".

    Almost cried today

@@della street. OMG! How horrible. I'm so sorry you had to experience that. Your story had me right there in the room with you, then in your car sobbing. Hopefully, you will never have to endure this type of humiliation EVER again.

    Odd Woman Out At Work

Have you considered putting in for a transfer and just getting a new start? It maybe for the best. You sound unhappy with not much recourse there. Sometines we just have to get a fresh start. All the best.

  15. @Cococat." Restricted" as in limited capacity to eat as much? At least I think that's what she maybe referring to. Just my two cents. I could be wrong.

help, im gaining, and im feeling down

Well, you stated you don't know why you are gaining and you also stated you are trying yo get back on track. So, you probably do know why you are gaining. Now just work on the getting back on track part. Get a nutritionist maybe, and get some help with an eating plan. Or go back to the basics and treat your sleeve like you just got it. Don't let depression set in while you do nothing. You will most likely eat the weight back online and that would be tragic after all the hard work you have done. Get motivated and get some help.....fast. Best.

    Burp-a-paluza

I'm three months out and it has not ended yet! I find this issue annoying, agitating, embarrassing, and downright ridiculous. Because for me, its not just when I eat. It's when I drink, eat, don't eat, whem I'm in bed trying to sleep. It just never ends. Also, unlike you, I don't burp outright a lot. I wish the burp will come out, because it would be a release. It stops in my throat and makes these loud ridiculous noices! UGH!

    Constipated

Prune juice, with the pulp, at 10pm before I go to sleep. A full glass, don't dilute with water. Well, it works for me. Best.

    Can I have some feedback?

Well what are you eating for snacks? Still a solid item, right? Or are you having soup with no solids? I was simply told no eating and drinking at the same time. It was not defined. Simply no eating and drinking. Maybe someone else has a better answer. Best.
  22. @pinkbunies. For me jealousy is not a turn on. That person has a problem with himself/ herself and projects on the other person. My X husband was irrationally jealous and we are now divorced. He made my life miserable by accusing me of being involved with everyone; the attendant at the laundromat, the person remodeling the kitchen, the person looking into our car from their car. It's not caring, it's control and insecurity. I would find myself in the middle of a huge argument defending myself about not being involved with these strangers. Crazy! And no, this man never had any reason to believe I was ever, in anyway, unfaithful in our marriage. There was a 12 year age difference and I believe that may of been the basis for a lot of his issues. That and he was cheated on in the previous relationship. Either way it was his issues. I was not flattered in any way. I was sad and angry. Just my two cents.
