    Buddy to motivate me

You just said it. Take your stuff with you in the morning and go straight to the gym after work. It's cold. If I go home, I'm NOT, going back out. Couch and hot cocoa here I come.

    Nausea vomiting and regret

Have you tried Lactaid skim milk, or lactose free Skim Plus? I'm extremely lactose intolerant, wad before surgery, but was not a milk lover and so just didn't bother with milk. Well, I'm simply unable to eat enough dense protein at this phase so I use Lactaid slim milk. I'm able to tolerate it. No gas, intestinal pain or diarrhea! I also tried the Skim Plus, but went back to Lactaid because it had less calories and carbs, but Skim Plus does have more protein for the extra calories. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope that as you begin to feel better your regret will go away. Best.

    Caffeine

I was advised by my NUT three months before my surgery to start weaning myself off coffee by doing half regular/half decaffeinated. Of course I didn't take her advise and continued my 35 year addiction until the day I started my pre op two week diet. Well suffered through the withdrawal for 8 days by mainly staying in my room and away from the general public. Luckily, I had taken a month off work. Between pre op hell and my withdrawal from caffeine and sugar, I'm amazed I'm here to tell about it. I have not returned to regular coffee and don't know if I ever will. I bought the best decaffeinated I could find, but, well, yuck, it doesn't compare. I will add unflavored protein to my decaffeinated on some mornings.

Got Your Guard Up for Holiday Season?

I plan to eat protein and drink water. Like I do every other day. Thanksgiving or any special holiday is just a day. My health, well that's every day for the rest of my life.

@@NewLife'sGr8. I was in shock that rubbing alcohol was put in your water bottle. Shocked. I'm sorry you're experiencing such hateful behavior and saddened that your company tolerates it.

@@NewLife'sGr8 OK, where the HELL do you leave your house to go to work every day????????
  8. Well, I think the harm maybe if your surgeon has you on clear liquids and you want to do full. I was on water and broth for 10 days and lived to tell about it. Take care of yourself and that new tiny baby tummy. Best.
  9. Oh yes, as@@GreenEyes604 said, thread very lightly, and be prepared for the support, accusations and judgement. Best.

@RiskyGirl21. Good morning pretty lady. So where are you? Haven't seen any responses from you. Are you reading everything and trying to process all the advise and suggestions? I hope we have been of some support and comfort to you. Check in and let us know how you're doing. BTW, have you taken a slow stroll as yet? If not, promise to start today. Also, when are you scheduled for surgery? I'm assuming you are pre op right? So check in soon. Best.

I Have No Motivation That Pushes Me

Hello, so don't think of it like working out. That just sound daunting and you mentally don't want to do it. Just get up and walk. Just get out of bed and take a slow stroll. Just take a slow stroll a couple times a day. Then gradually go a little further. Not work out. Just walk. Walk first inside your house then try outside. Little distances. Just start. On another note, you maybe suffering from some depression. It happens to alot of us. If possible, talk to your PCP and get a rederral to talk with someone. Again, just walk. Not work out. Just walk. Start today. Best.

    I baked

@@sophie'sChoice. I make hot cocoa with skim milk, cacao powder (OMG, U MUST GET THIS!!!!) and stevia. 9 grams of protein and about 130 calories. My end of day comfort. If I'm low on protein I do 12ounces of milk for more protein. If I need even more protein I add half a scoop of unflavored protein powder. Yes the calories go up, but it's within my plan for the day.

    I baked

Once it gets to fall I start baking pumpkin bread. Three loaves per recipe. I've already baked two batches so far. Given away some and my family enjoyed. I guess becauseI had to kick a serious caffeine and sugar addiction I'm afraid of going back there. So no pumpkin bread for me, but I so enjoy baking. I was tempted to take that first hot end slice. So tempted. But I also realized not doing so was a fleeting thought and not an obsessive one. I guess I'm making progress.

    The collarbone pose

Yup, I also caress my hip bones when I'm in bed. Only time I can actually feel them at this stage. I'm a naughty girl!

    Dating post-op...

you are welcomed. But to address your question. I also want a romantic life and do get attention from men. Even before my surgety. My issue is things are sagging and mushy, and I just don't have the confidence to remove my clothing for anyone. It's enough doing so for my GYNO appointment once a year. But you are obviously younger than I am. You will have a lot of great years ahead of you. Enjoy the process. All the boys will be coming into your yard!

    Dating post-op...

Well Ms extremely pretty face, all I can add is maybe when the weigh you want to lose begins to come off; your confidence will increase and you will start to put yourself out there. I hope DC is getting ready.
  20. @dannilynn1. Thanks for responding. I still say you have done so well. How much water do you drink a day? I'm good with my protein and try to keep the calories under 800. My water, I get close, but don't quite meet the 64 ozs. Ever.

    The collarbone pose

I look at my gorgeous collar bones and touch them all the time. Several times a day. Just enjoy doing it.

thanks for the words of encouragement. How much water do you drink? I've struggled with water intake from day one.
