Seven months ago I went into a surgery room scared as I've ever been in my life yet determined to make a new start. Today I can't help but tear up when I look in the mirror as the girl standing in front of me is thin....it is me and I am unrecognizable. I am so grateful to have had this life changing tool and I don't take one single day for granted. I never imagined I would be upset over people telling me to eat a cheeseburger but it really does sting. People have a hard time dealing with seeing me thin so in their minds I have lost too much weight. However, my nutritionist says I'm healthy and I feel GOOD about my weight loss. My back hurts less, I have more energy, I get to see if I still need my cpap next week....a lot has changed. Would I do it again? Absolutely!!!!
