You are not alone stephh I have bald spots all over I can't brush or wash my hair without having a Handfull of hair I have passed my crying stage and started wig shopping not fun at all !!!! I have an apt with my surgeon in 3 weeks I hope he give me something for this

I live in somerset and work in Edison not far from Woodbridge

I was told by my surgeon and the gastroenterologist since its a capsule it's ok to swallow it whole. I have not had any issues as of yet! I don't take it daily as I'm suppose to have it 30 minutes before Breakfast and I sometimes forget so I just skip it .... Also a little update about me I'm doing well surgery was oct 29 Pre op diet weight 230 surgery date was 214 and today I'm 197 Finally in onderland!!!! Have fun on your cruise !!!!! @ lovlytrl And good luck to all.... I also has shoppers remorse the first day or two as I wanted to eat with my family and not only I couldn't I was in pain!!! But I'm getting the hang of things I saw a whole different side of the restaurant world. Due to work we eat out at least 4 times a week ugh.... I though it was going to be hell but it's actually not bad there's Soup almost everywhere and it's nice to be able to have choices even on soft diet/ puréed . I found sometimes I don't know what to get because everything sounds so good lol maybe I just see things in the bright side On another note I've lost 33 lbs but can't believe my pants fit the same I have lost inches in my abdomen and arms and legs but somehow jeans fit tighter some days I just don't get it!!! T-Shirts on the other hand seem looser.

Today I'm at 213 Didn't make my Goal but I'm glad I lost some weight !!!

Thanks all for the good wishes And I'm excited and scared. Im in the liquid diet stage this is my 4th day. Only 3 more days to go and I'm already 10lbs down. I couldn't believe how fast I'm losing!!!! I stepped on the scale a second and a third time then move the scale to another location I'm just so amazed how quick it's going liquid diet not as bad as I though it to be especially with these results Pre op diet weight Day 1 was 229.0 Day 2 was 224.6 Day 3 was 220.2 Today Day 4 219.6 And keep it coming !!!! I admit to the group I cheated yesterday. It was a must though... I had 4 oz of sugar free fat free frozen yogurt as I met with a friend I haven't seen in years! Sorry I'm going on and on. Sorry I haven't replied in a while, but I do read all the post. I'm just getting ready for it all.... 1st day of liquid diet today and it's been awful. My surgery is October 29 only a week away from my 34th birthday I'm super exited !!!!!

So am I Oct 29. ... I'm just anxiously nervously and scarily awaiting the day !!!!! I have all my clearances done just need pre admin work up which will be in a few days good luck to you !!!!

Peekboo I think all surgeons are different and have different requirements it's probably what works for them the surgeon I went to has a big post surgery program but it is optional and free so I'd say shop around first I went around for at least 2 years until I found the perfect person / surgeon he has a pre op program as we'll and it's very reassuring good luck on whatever you decide

Happymama2014 Most bariactric vitamins are powder that you mix with 4 oz of Water that was my same question my surgeon recommended to do the vitamins first thing in the morning one so you don't forget and two so if you inlet get in 2 oz you can work on the other two the rest of the day he said the only issue taking them might me 1 to 2 days after surgery after that it should be easy

Smiling panda I think I fell that too that's probably why I'm scared in away to submit myself to surgery to then f@&$ it all up but we need to stay positive and look at the goal it won't be a walk in the park but with a little work we'll get there! And I have told everyone at work the reason I want to know exactly who's with me and who is not I work in a an office with 12 people so far everyone is happy I'm doing it I only got one oh so your taking the easy way out lol which now tells me this is the one persons comment I will not be paying attention to but now that he heard everyone and the hard work it is to get there she's changing her mind and has been a little more supportive good luck and look at the prize so whatever it takes to get there !!!!

Yes shrinkingjill I hear you I been postponing this for a while but it's time to think about me! And on the note of sounding selfish I have realized if I don't do it for myself no one will -__- but I'm almost done now I'm very anal so got everything out of the way been cleared by PCP, Psychiatrist, gastroenterologist, endocrinologist, and seen the nutritionist now I'm just waiting for begging of oct to do cardiologist and pre op testing. I live the program our doctor has he has everything you need to stay on track from a monthly support group to a running clinic which are all free to use and I plan on ( well I am ) taking full advantage of.... On that note I fell very prepared just very nervous and scared but also happy that I'm this far out basically just waiting for the day
