Hi all I am from Long Island NY and am 3yrs out I have gained back 25 of my 100lb weight loss I am depressed embarrassed and just so unhappy I just can't seem to find the will power I don't sit down and eat meals I snack and most of the time it's from 4pm to bedtime

It will get better it took me a long time to feel better and to admit that I made the right decision. It was 4 months on the 8th of December and I am down 60lbs I feel really good just remember to get as much protein Ina's you can it will get easier as time goes on..it's very hard in the beginning hang in there !

I use premiere protein as well I love it I drink it between breakfast and lunch

Hi I am 58 yrs old and had my bypass surgery August 8th almost 4 months out . I have lost 56lbs. So far and feel really good. Only thing I am struggling with is exercise! Would love to keep in touch with our progress.

Hi Becklinn I had my surgery Aug. 8th everything you are feeling is exactly what I have been through as far as post op you are adding driving distance and other obstacles as well. My doctor still has me in liquid I go back to see him on Monday. I find the ready made shakes are easier to get down rather than the powder. I also find that hot tea all day helps me get the water in. Each day will get much better for you. Friday was a week for me and I feel so much better I don't nap anymore and the pain gets less..however I am still crying all the time..not so sure how long that will last. Hi all had surgery 3 days ago still needing pain meds every 4 or 5 hours....find it the worse when I get up in the morning....been walking as much as I can hard to get the protein shakes in...not feeling so wonderful...LOL

August 8 for me

Hi Bev I am a little older than you I will be 58 week after my surgery date of Aug 8. I am a nervous wreck pre op is the 5th wishing you the very best and to everyone else....we are in this together Looking forward to all the positive post after our August surgeries. Debbie

I am also doing the sMe think it's all I think about. I am 2 days in to my 3 week liquid diet and have already bought things for after surgery. I just think we can't wait to start our new life....a healthy one! Good luck to all of you!

Day 2 of the 3 week liquid diet...finding it a little tough. I have a wedding tomorrow and I am praying I make it through...August 8th cNt come quick enough ...hoping all of you are doing well!

As my Aug. 8th date approaches....tomorrow I start my 3wk pre surgery diet. 3 to 4 shakes a day and a small salad with small amount of chicken or fish. Reality set in that this is going to happen. I feel the same way as most of you. Happy...excited...nervous... I too am having hernia repair...I don't want to wish the summer away because its my favorite time of year but I really want to get this over with...LOL My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as I know we will all be feeling so much better come September. Hi Shelly hang in there . I start my liquid diet July 18 for a n Aug 8th surgery date when I really think about it I get a little anxious but it's all worth it I am sure. good luck to you !

Hi Karen, I feel the same way as you my surgery is not until Aug. 8 th. I have not practiced chewing and sipping slowly. There are days I ask myself if I will be able to do this. I start my liquid 3 weeks before and I hope it goes well. Wishing you the best!

So my surgery is just about a month away. I am supposed to be practicing chewing and on no carb low fat diet. I did ok the first week but I am slowly cheating with things that I feel I have to have because I will not be able to have them later.....I am also getting anxious and doubting my decision to do this. Anyone out there experience this. Hoping to do well on the 3 week before surgery liquid diet to shrink liver...please help!
