I'm pretty close in Denton. I had my surgery on June 10 and my hubby had his 4 yrs ago. I've never used myfitnesspal but will check it out.

I called the doctor and they got on to me for lifting water. I can't lift anything over 10 lbs for 6 weeks...my bad, I thought it was 3 weeks. She told me to watch for nausea, vomiting, or fever, but she thought I would be fine in a few days. Its so sore!

Had my surgery on June 10 and yesterday I went to the grocery store. I picked up a large package of water bottles and put them in the cart. I remember feeling a little bit of pain and thought oh I better not do that again. Ever since then, that biggest incision site has gotten more sore. Now its painful to cough or lay on that side! Anyone else experience this?

Work after Revision

I'm experiencing this right now. I'm three weeks out from surgery and yesterday went to the grocery store and lifted a case of water into the cart. I'm paying for it now! -
Yes it feels like a stabbing pain like I tore something open on the inside

I didn't have a tube so I'm glad about that! I'm still on liquids until Tuesday. The only cheat I've had is one bite of my little boys cut up spaghetti and I've had a pintos and cheese from Taco Bell because I wasn't anywhere where I could pick up soup on the road. TBH, I've lost 26 lbs since the 10th and I'm actually afraid to eat real food because I have this fear of stretching my stomach or causing a leak. I can't believe I'm actually almost done with my three weeks of liquids!

Had my surgery on June 10 and went for my two week follow-up today. Told me to stay on liquids another week before I start mushy foods. He said that week 3 is the one that really gets people because they are feeling good and think they can try more than just liquid. I've lost 24 pounds to date so I'm not going to chance it! I had a lapband to sleeve revision. The lapband caused a lot of scar tissue to form on my stomach so he said its vital that I stay on liquids for a full 3 weeks.

I'm also a band to sleeve, my surgery was 6/18. My dr has ok'd really soft foods 4 days after surgery. I didn't have a lot of scar tissue but my port was the issue and that incision site/area is still tender. I feel so much better now that the band is gone how about you?I feel so much better now that's gone too. I forgot what it felt like for food to actually hit my stomach. I can't believe you had a revision and your doctor has already ok'd soft foods. Only Soups that can go through a strainer and Protein drinks for me till next Tuesday!

How are you feeling? I'm doing great! Easiest surgery I've been through. I went yesterday to my follow-up and I'm down 24 pounds! Got my bandage off from where he took my lapband port out. That's my worst incision.

I was sleeved June 10 also by Dr. Nicholson!

I had my surgery on June 10 also. This has been the easiest surgery for me to date! The liquid diet is tough especially with my family eating real food around me but I'm doing good. Down 20 pounds as of this morning!

I had my lapband revision on June 10 and had zero complications. Easier surgery than the lapband surgery in my opinion. I only took the pain meds for two days and didn't need them after that. Today I am down 20 lbs!
