Thank you! I agreed. He's called the dr and been to post-op appts and is told to "keep on keeping on" but is beyond frustrated. He takes Omeprazole twice a day which has really helped with the GERD - he was spitting up acid before that. He has a 3 month post-op appt in a couple more weeks. Anyone else experiencing this?

My fiance thought some were too sweet so we bought unflavored Protein powder from GNC (the store recommended a specific kind for pre-op and post-op) and made our own. We added PB2 for additional protein and yummy Peanut Butter flavor

My fiance is 2 months post op and cannot eat more than a couple spoonfuls of soup or food without a burning sensation in his stomach. He denies it's GERD. He doesn't want to eat anymore because it makes him feel so terrible Please advise
