  1. As of yesterday I have lost 85% of fat and only 15% muscle. I have 33 pds to go. So I'm kicking up my walking and going to the gym. At the end of July going to the Gilroy garlic festival and staying in Santa Cruz for a couple of days. I'll be hitting the beach and board walk. Yeah haven't been there in a long time.
  2. I just got my fitbit a week ago and it's helping with keeping track of everything. The only thing is it doesn't show how much protein so I'm also logging into the myfitnespal too.

    How is everyone?

That is great! I have the same problem with the exercise. I've started walking at lunch and going for a walk after work. I have exercise videos too but sometimes it's hard to get up at 4am sometimes a little to late to do the exercise. I've very happy with my weight lose I have 51 pds to go.
  4. It's been a while since I've posted here. I like reading how everyone is doing. I've lost 70 pds so far I think I had a little bit of a stall but since I've only been weight at the Drs. office I still had a weight lose. Went 2 months with out being weighted and still just lost 10 pds when I was losing about 10 pds a month. I'm still happy with that. I have 51 pds to go. I been walking after work and at lunch need to get to the gym more I know that will help. Glad the weather is warming up though we didn't have much of a winter I live in Reno, NV I'm not a cold weather person. I've been glad to getting into clothes that I've had for a long time and give away the ones that are to big for me now. Great job everyone for loosing the weight.
  5. I had my surgery Sept 10, 2014 just 5 day's before my 60th birthday. I've lost 70 pounds and have 51 pds to go. I'm personal goal is 135. I've gotten a Fitbit to help keep track of my steps, sleep and exercise. Logging in my food. This was the best thing I've done for myself feeling good. Good luck to all on your journeys

  14. Yes there is a lot of difference between Dr. I'm on liquid 3 weeks but if I can 4 says it's better for stomach to heel. Went back to work in a week and a half. Sleeved 9/10 doing good tried Greek yogurt 5 oz could only eat half at a time. Ugh liquids go down easy.
  15. Thanks JCP for your message. I'm doing the same thing not weighting myself. Won't know till 10/9 how much weight I've lost. Congratulations to all September sleeves and on to our new journey with much success to all. I believe this is the best thing I've done for myself and I hope everyone feels the same. I finally get pureed food tomorrow. Yeah! Looking forward to hearing all are progress along the way.
  16. I was sleeved 9/10 and I've been doing really good. Going to the gym going to start walking at lunch since the fire is contained and I can breathe. Haven't weighed myself yet but getting into old clothes. Get to start puree foods this week. I didn't have any gas pain. Did have one dumping ate oatmeal from cafe down stairs at work won't do that again.
  17. I had dehydration in the hospital and they put stuff in the IV for that. I'm still on liquid diet to help my stomach heel for 2 more weeks. Starting vitamins also add B12 it seems to help with energy and keep water with you all the time. I go back to work Monday and have started at the gym too. My recovery has been fairly easy. Best of luck on your recovery.
  18. Saw my doctor today I'm cleared to go back to work on Monday. Also able to go to gym and go back to swimming too. I'm also healing good.
