I cant totally relate. My surgery date is August 4th. I start my low carb diet on July 21st. But they told me to go ahead and be practicing chew, chew, chew. That's hard for me. I practically inhale my food sometimes. I have to make a conscience effort to chew slowly and thoroughly. I'm excited about surgery though, seems like an eternity till August! -

makingchanges4me... thanks for the note. We are on the same path definitely. I am scheduled for surgery on August 4 & 5 in San Antonio. I heard of a support group that meets monthly in north Austin in Walnut Creek area. I'm in Round Rock, what about you? Stay in touch!

Achey under right rib cage

Haven't had the WLS yet, but I have had gall bladder surgery. and the pain was a lot more than just achey. It was downright excruciating. So yours doesn't sound like gall bladder. maybe it's the port sight? -
