I took two weeks off of work and I was glad I was able to. It gave my body a chance to heal and get my strength back. I hope you are able to get some rest soon. Take care of yourself. I got off the pain meds and onto Tylenol also. -
I've had two fills now. The first hurt just a little going in, kinda of like giving blood, then I just felt pressure. The second one I didn't feel a thing. They should check your stomach before hand, mine felt around with her fingers first to make sure she was on the port. It will be ok..

I seem to be in bandster hell right now. I was banded on 8/5 and my first fill is tomorrow Lately I've been starving and trying like hell not to over eat or wolf down my food. I know this is a practice run for when I hit my green zone, I just hope I don't gain weight back right now. eek. -

I too suffer from depression, I have for most of my adult life. I finally sought out medical help when I reached my rock bottom. Then it took several years to find the right meds and doses that benefit me most. My suggestion to you is to seek professional help. There is no reason to suffer. Find a psychiatrist (they can write prescriptions) and tell them your feelings. Please get help. We all here for you and can help support you during your weight loss surgery and beyond. I plan on continuing to take my medication before, during and after my WLS. I wouldn't be caught without it. It's been a life saver for me and I mean that literally. There is help out there. Don't give up. You can have a better life.

so sorry to hear that. that happened to me once, I was all dressed up and trucking across a busy intersection downtown, just left an interview and twisted my ankle and went down hard. scraped my knee pretty bad. one person got out of his car to make sure I was ok. I was ok, but humiliated. I think I was pretty chunky then too. maybe you can run on the treadmill or ride the bike while your hand heals. good luck.

Hi kyrickchick64. I too am ready for a change. my surgery date is 8/4 and I can hardly wait. I've been overweight my entire adult life and feel it's time for me to have a good life. I deserve it. I'm 56 and don't feel like it's too late. it's only too late if you never do it! good luck!!
