  1. Have just been wearing comfortable clothes since surgery, but today I started trying on all my jeans. There was a pair I wore on my bday in February and I popped one of the buttons off of them that night--today they were too loose!!! Man that felt so good! Went to our county fair tonight and it was so strange to not be binging on all the fried food there. It was kind of a little sad and liberating at the same time if that makes sense Can't wait to keep losing and going down pants sizes and feeling better and better

    Crying happy tears..

You don't like the Premier Protein? I get them at Costco and I think the chocolate one just tastes like chocolate milk basically. Good luck to you too!

So if I can ask what was your heaviest weight and starting weight? My heaviest was 317, on the day of surgery I was 305 and today I'm 297 I wanna get to 160 I think

    Crying happy tears..

I had a lot of anxiety and nerves leading up to it, but man I'm glad I made the leap..so far I think it's going to be the best decision I ever make for myself! Excited for you!
  5. I'm only POD #5 and I'm feeling great. Walking, starting to get my liquids in easier, much less pain. When I stepped on the scale this morning it was all affirmed that I did the right thing by having the sleeve. I started crying happy tears because maybe I'll finally be able to live the life I want!! So thankful!
  6. I'm attempting to get a whole protein drink in today..my goal is to get 3 in a day which would be my 90g of protein, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Sipping on water and G2 when I'm awake. Pretty painful so taking my meds every 3-4 hours makes me pretty sleepy. Don't even wanna try taking all my meds blah. Trying to stay optimistic though that this will all get better every day

  10. I was told I couldn't have gummy multivitamins after surgery so I got some chewable ones...yuck!! All well, it's only for a short time I love the gummy ones cuz they're like fruit snacks lol

    Surgery in 2 weeks! ☺️

Thank you for the advice!! Yeah I can't imagine having to do a pre-op liquid diet for 2 weeks! I'm so glad you have no regrets..I've heard some discouraging things reading some of these threads so I'm happy to hear you are having a positive experience
  12. I'm a newcomer! I have been reading some of the posts about people having to be on liquids for 2 weeks pre-op..but my surgeon doesn't do that..wonder why. I do follow a 2 week pre-op diet consisting of mostly fruits, veggies and protein, and I've started that..going well so far. Having my sleeve in 2 weeks..any great must haves for after surgery? Helpful tips? Thanks! -Ashley
