They say about a 4-6 weeks but i also read 4 days...last time i smoked was almost 2 mo ago and got my blood drawn last wk and test came back today neg!!! (Not detected) Its hard but you will do it! Good Luck!

I am!!! And i am scared out of my mind...i was fine up until i got my date...its so soreal to me..im like this is really gonna happen...sigh** then my anxiety went up...and my stupid subconcious is like this this and this could happen.... But i guess i have to maintain myself positive and think hiw far ive come (6months preop) how r u feeling? Did u start ur 2 week liquid diet yet?

Mu surgery is 10/22 and they said only a 24 hr liquid diet. Im thinkin ima do the 2 weeks (atleast try) @@MicheleL -

Hello im 28 420 lbs and i have 2 kids surgery sched for mid october. Prob will have loose skin but i heard from different people that with excercising and usin a girdle helps with it. But i imagine someine my size prib need a lil more help other than that. (Plastuc surg) good luck and dnt worry about loose skin ur health is more important! Good luck ???? -
I got approved guys! Been a longgggg 6 months and its so soreal i have my surgery date! I cried when my surgical coordinator calles not to sure if this was normal..lol but they were happy tears!! Any pointers on what to expect after surgery and how did some of u deal with anxiety? Plz let me know! Thanks guys!! ????

Hello i am 28yrs old 423lbs 65in im in my last 6th month supervised wt program and the scale been up and down. Luckily my ins doesnt require any wt to be lost before surg. I have 2 pshyc visits left and 1 nutri class left so hopefully by end if sept im gettin surg! ???????????????????????????? -

Hellurrrr im in my last mnth for the 6 mo wt management thank god its almost over!!! I have a nutritiin class (90min) and 2 phsyc visits left hopefuly all finished by 3rd week of sept? More closer i get the more nervous and scared!!! Pls excuse thumb errors ???????????????? Btw i started in March 2015. -
Start takin biotin 5000 mcg daily and eat ur proteins..this should help

Hello i am 28 yrs old 420 lbs 65inches tall. Thinking of getting VSG anyone think this is the best procedure or should i get bypass? I have 2 children and my wt is mainly in my stomach (apron), and im scared i have chronic sleep apnea and scared of not waking up after surgery! Anything that can help me get over this fear?
