Hi everyone! I am in a weightloss study through my insurance and received my surgery approval on Friday. My next step is to meet with my doctor and then set my surgery date which has to be done by October 12th. I'm excited, anxious and ready to start new. It's a pleasure to meet you all! -
I can't wait to feel that sense of freedom from food. Wow! What a Ah Ha Moment for you!

Eight pounds is GREAT! We were required to lose only 4 pounds so you exceeded their expectations. When did you complete your shakes? You know you can always contact Bethany for status. Did they give you a staff contact card with everyone's number and email on it? I will contact Bethany tomorrow and I'll let you know my status. -
The lapband is strickly a tool that is used to help you achieve your weight lost goals. I find Youtube videos helpful because I get a change to see real life experiences from people who have had the lapband surgery and who are successful and thoses who are unsuccessful and the reason why they are not.

I lost 14 pounds. Those two weeks were tough it got to a point that I had to start baking the powder because I couldn't drink it any longer. This happened towards the last couple of days. I'm also sure we sould hear something around the same time. I am so happy you posted to this thread I wanted to months ago but decided not to because it's been here so long. We must keep in contact! -

Like you I finished my shakes on July 6th and completed my chest x-Ray on my two week visit. Now I'm waiting for the call. Please keep me updated when you receive your surgery approval call and I'll do the same. -
