  4. Hello Keyairah. So sorry I havent gotten in contact with you sooner but I havent been in here in a while. Everything is going okay. Had a setback and gained a few pounds back but Im on track now and back to losing. I hope everything is going well with you.

  5. Hi! Yes, I am doing good now. I have my ups and downs but all in all I cannot complain. I have started working with a trainer, however, not very consistantly but at least once a week I see him and do my own thing at least 3-4 days out of the week. My eating varies...it depends on the tightness of my band like now I am really tight so I just try to get in what I can. Mostly baked fish and veggies if I dont go out to eat. But my eating is not consistant at all. Its working so far so I'm not complaining! :-)

  7. Its been awhile since i last heard from you. I just finish looking at your pics and from the looks of things you are doing just fine and in glad. So besides the band itself what eating habit best works for you.

  8. You look GREAT my 6 month will be may 3rd and i have only loss 65lbs so for you to lose 94lbs I take my hat off to you. I wish i had loss 94 by now. Keep up the good work and if you have any serects let me know about them. Im good at keeping secrets!!!!!!

    Thank you for you post!! I was about to go nuts because I am having the same problem! I've been working out 5 days a week and strenght training 3 of those days and have gained 3 freakin pounds!!! I was trying to LOSE those three not gain! But I see what the problem is now!! so thank you both!! :-)

  10. hey girl everything is going ok with me im just taking it one step at a time. Im down to 292lbs since surgery. I started at 346lbs. surgery date was the 3rd of dec. So im happy about that. Im also glad you check in with me it keeps me going and pushing myself. I hope every thing is ok with you and my you continue to be a loser, and at sucess you will still be a winner keep up the good work.

    What should I say to Doctor???

    well crazycatlady i have questions for you. What doctor perform your procedure? If you are so unhappy with your doc why wont you switch? Do you write down everything you eat? If not you should that way you can refer back to where you may have went wrong. my only other guess would be that you didnt start off really obese and you are 155 now sometimes the body will only lose so much. But you should be happy with yourself. I wish u the best and hope every thing work out. But maybe you should keep a food journal to show your doc instead of telling him. Put some actions into those words you telling him.
  13. I must say you really look great. I been banded since 12/03/08 and really would like any pointers you could give me. what was it like for you? I would would really like to hear your ups and down with your weight loss journey. In the meantime keep up the wonderful work. :thumbup:

  15. Thank you for your helpful advice. I must admit I had fallen into some bad habits and had stopped exercising as much as I did in the beginning because of a shift change on my job. For the last 2 weeks I have went back to really watching what I eat and limiting my calorie intake. I have started working out at least once a day for 30 minutes (sometimes twice). I am back on the wagon now and am really trying to reach my goal. I have come too far to stop now. I will tell anyone, its easier getting off the wagon than it is to get back on so my advice is dont get off. lol I will turn 40 in February and it is my goal to be 155 by then. I weigh 162 now so I think I will reach my goal. I will keep you posted.
