Throwing up - 9 weeks out

I don't think it's Snarky to suggest that. In Fact you may be very right. I've been eating more food rich in good fats but nevertheless, oily. I wonder if eating too fast makes this happen too. It can be a challenge to sit with a plate of food in front of you when in a restaurant setting with people as I try not to be so slow or obvious.

    Cold sweats

Anyone experience cold sweats after a Protein shake? I get is regularly now. Thanks!, Vic
  3. None have troubles after eating then feeling too full and needing to throw up? I've had it now several times this last week. Mostly with rich foods. Something's just done like going down and staying down, Any advice is appreciated.
  4. Alcohol numbs the stomach and in return you get the feeling that food is not such a problem anymore. While you still get full...you do not experience the general malaise associated with eating...or more so swallowing and waiting for the food to get into your stomach. At the same time you get a little buzz and life seems...for a short while...to be a little normal. Be careful my friends...it is a dangerous slippery slide that can grab you in an instant and pull you down quickly.

    Post Op June 2014 Sleevers

My surgery was June 10th and I cannot believe ( cross fingers) how well I am doing. I am basically on solids, well I chew them into puree, but I eat steak, chicken, eggs, getting off the dairy which is so bad for you, and soon I will move to a vegan diet using Chlorella and Spirulina as my super protein foods. Sometimes I get a little pain when I swallow something with too much air but for the most part I am doing really well. Lost 32 lbs so far. Had three days of no loss but I don't care I will get there.

    6/12/14 - Sugery Buddies Needed

Had mine 6/10 and so far so good. Off all pain meds and nausea/cramp meds etc. Started today on soft foods like Apple sauce, had some Wolfgang Puck Cream of Tomato Soup and that was good but VERY fatty. My stomach was okay with it but my tongue isn't anymore. In Puyallup, WA if anyone wants to chat about recent surgery and post op stuff.
  8. Any post op Sleeve men here in WA? No I'm not looking for a partner but I am looking to share stories with local men wanting to share their recent surgery stories and experiences. I am three days post op and doing pretty well. Not pushing any limits and being conservative with my food. Lots of pain in the belly button they cut open to pull my stomach out of. My wife is helping me recover, grateful for that help. She was against it to begin with, but I felt I needed it to ensure my future health. I know set men lose weight differently to women post op and looking for advice. Good luck to all those starting this journey. I am looking forward to being more active and to success. Starting weight 305lbs 6ft 0in. Surgery day 293lbs I gained 12 lbs the day after surgery! Must be Water weight and swelling.
  9. Are there any suggestions out there for supplements to take to help the stomach to heal more quickly and with best results? My 3rd day post op and I feel pretty good. Able to keep soft foods and clear Soups down. Had apple sauce and some baby food yogurt today and all is well.
