I am 2 days postoperative gastric sleeve and experiencing the same thing. I think its just gas bubbles trying to come up the esophagus but I am unable to burp. Most relief o have gotten us walking and gas x chews Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

Hi guys I was sleeved on 6/21. 1st two days were horrible. I coukdn even keep a sip of water down. Had to go back to dr office for iv fluids. Feeling alot better today and im able to keep down sips of water. Going to try and get some protein in today with the isopure just hate the after tast! Does anybody know of a good appetite suppressant? I have to lose 23lbs before I can even submit my paperwork and I'm having a hard time dieting! Hello if I could lose that kind if weight I wouldn't need this surgery! I'm trying to do 2 shakes a day but I'm starving all the time! help!

I have heard some people say the have no appetite and some that just have head hunger. This is a learning process we need to learn the differences and use the surgury as a tool

Thanks everybody! I know I have to be strong it's just so hard! But I have to I can't go on living like this! Everyday is a struggle! I'm sooo addicted to food I just feel like after the surgury I won't have that I can eat a horse feeling! Prayers plz

Does anybody have BCBS TN. I talked to my surgeons office manager and she seems to think that since my BMI is at 40 now that I don't need anymore co morbidities. But it's been about 38 for the last five yrs and they want documented weights

I cut out soda and replacing 1 meal a day with a protein shake and started exercising. We'll see I weigh on Monday. -

Hi I'm in the same boat. Just started my journey too. I'm not required by my insurance to do the 6 mo diet but I have to lose 10% of my body weight which is 23lbs! So it will still be awhile. I'm mKing gradual changes, eliminating white bread, refined sugars,cokes, drinking water which I never do and started going back to the gym! It's only been 3 days and I'm really wondering if I can do it! Trying to be strong but it's hard!
