Hello my screen name is Roby I am 57 years old, self employed and an all around happy person. I'm starting this journey for A title different reasons. I've had a Nissan fundiplication, two open failed paraesophageal hernia repair surgeries that were 6 years apart,Complete mid lines and a total bowel obstruction with a colostomy that was eventually reveresed. These occurred about 4 to 5 years apart. Now my stomach needs repaired again and my surgeon feels a gastric bypass is the solution due to adhesions, the gerd, Barrett's esophagus and being opened up three times. My current weight is 180 lbs. I'm a little nervous about it right now. I meet with him again on July 17 th. I think the unknown about the long term is scary along with knowing my guts have been altered forever. It's going to be very nice having someone to talk to about food and all that comes with this surgery. Thanks and I'll check in later. Very grateful for all opinions and advice
