I'm 6 months post op and have yet to find a protein powder I can stomach. I can only handle premier protein and muscle milk ready made shakes. -
Can anyone compared RNY to c-section?

I had 3 c sections and I think the RNY was way easier. The worst part for me way the drain. When it was removed it was so much easier. I had mine done in Mexico and was in airports from noon till 11 pm 3 days after surgery. Not too bad. -

I definitely wanna be able to climb back on to a boat without having 2 guys haul me up like a beached whale. Horribly embarrassing even though one was my husband.Never wanna wonder if I can fit on a ride again either. Don't want to ever be picked up at front gates of the zoo again because I can't walk a step further without crying due to pain. -

I didn't wear my wedding rings but I wore 12 ear piercings just changed them to clear plastic ones. I've heard of them just taping them if you can't get them off though. -

I used Dr Rodriguez in Juarez March 26th 2015. I had gastric bypass. I'm almost 6 months out and down 103 pounds since preop and 83 since surgery. I've been stalled this month though. Went from a 24 pant to a 11 so far and have 35 more pounds till goal. -

I've went from a 40DD down to a 34C They are super saggy and no fullness to them at all. Definitely gonna need a lift and implants when done losing. -

It will be 6 months on the 26th and I'm down 103 pounds from my highest. I went from a 24 pant to a size 11 so far. Still have 35 till goal. -
Yea I'm gonna have to save, finance, or maybe use or income tax to afford it a little at a time. But my stomachs been ruined since I was 16 and got pregnant. My hubby's known for a long time I've needed a tummy tuck and the way it's looking probably new bobs lol

My stomach will never bounce back. I'm definitely gonna have to have a tummy tuck when I reach goal.

Yea I'm sure it will but we'll always have to watch what we eat and drink or we can just gain it back. Kinda scares me a bit.

I guess I started out smaller in the first place. 258 was my highest and was at 228 the day of surgery. I'm down 48 pounds so far in 13 weeks. Still got 60 more to go till goal. Went from a size 24 to a 14 already so I dunno what size I'll end up being when I meet goal but I think I'm doing pretty well so far.

So you still losing weight pretty good 6 months or so out? I'm curious to if it just slows down or stops one day. I'm not losing weight super fast but I here that's the best way anyways. I'm just glad to be losing and not gaining anymore.

I'm a stay at home mom of 3 rotten boys lol. I've really never worked always been at home. Think that's one of the reasons I gained so much weight. I sit on my butt too much.

That's an awesome birthday present lol. Did you have your surgery here? My insurance had an exclusion on all weight loss so I had to self pay. Couldn't afford it here so had my bypass in mexico. So do you work?

So your 30? I'm 31. Mine doesn't notify me very well but I get bored and check alot lol. Are you exercising? I need to start. I'm getting flabby need to work on toning. I know probably no matter what I'm gonna have lose skin but it would help some to exercise I'm sure.

Yea I know it will always be something we have to be on top of with calories,protein,and fluids.But I definitely don't regret getting the surgery. So where at do you live in Arkansas. I live in Hackett.

I'm doing good. Just got back from vacation yesterday. Drove to New York ,Pennsylvania,and Kentucky. Don't think I was getting enough calories or fluids cause towards the end I was kinda blacking out every time I stood up. Dropped 3 pounds on vacation though which I used to gain cause we like to eat out at new places lol. How are you doing? Getting close to that year mark.

10 weeks post op and have went from a 40 DD to 38 D so far. They are getting pretty deflated looking already. Not looking forward to how bad they will be in a year from now:( But I hope to have some extreme plastics afterwards anyway.
