Hey anyone out in Vancouver, I am going in on the first of Feb, yahoo!! So just wondering if anyone from around here, be nice to hear from you, Val.

Well it has been 3 months and I have not dropped a pound, I have increased my calorie intake, I have decreased, I walk everyday I workout I work, I just don't know anymore!! I have tried everything to lose, and nothing, what the?? I even tried really low carb, nothing! yes I have lost inches, but that stopped to nothing in over 2 months, anyone out there havng same prob?:biggrin:

I usually have a bolied egg in the morning, mid morning snack is lean sliced ham with light laughing cow cheese or turkey chicken pepperoni luch usualy is a shrimp salad, and dinner is a protien, salad and veggies, and i always eat my protien first.

Well since I have no weight loss for 3 months, I am going to change things up, yet again, I am going to try liquids with only one meal a day, what does everyone think, or has anyone tried that? my liquid will be a atkins protien drink, and my meal will be protien and veggies.

What is a good protien shake? I guess I am asking what brand, and do you have it with milk, water? is there not a lot of calories in these shakes? what about whey? thanks!:thumbup:

It is truly fustrating, I thought i would at least lose 8-10 pounds a month, now I'd be happy with 1! nothing just fricking stinks, I had such high hopes when I had this done, now its come crashing down:thumbs_down: its just not right, I am afraid to go for a fill, I am afraid what my doctor will say, I am sure he will say its my fault, he is very hard to talk too, all he keeps saying is 1/2 teacup 3 times a day! Ya well its not working 1/2 teacup or not!!!

Thanks Janet, yes I keep a food journal, I know wxactly what I eat in a day, lol! I walk to curves which is a 20 minute brisk walk, and my workout I sweat, they have anew computrized program now, its awesome, really makes you work

Hi Janet, I wa banded Jan 25th/08 weight was at 261 and i am now at 219 42 pounds, but I have not lost in 2 months, I am getting extremely fustrated! I knew I wasn't getting enough caloties, so everyone was saying so I uped my calories from 900 - 1300 and nothing nota pound, inches are the same, my last fill was May 3 to 7cc, I don't know, feel like crying, is this it?? p.s I walk 20 mins every mornin and curves circuit 5 days a week, any thing you could tell me would be appreciated, what is your menue like for a day??

That is so awesome, I have been there, I now have gone through my wardrobe twice and given away some old clothes that are way to big, oh what a feeling!! and I've had to hem a few things too, no better feeling then that! One thing I did do that I had to laugh at myself, I went out to get a new bra, thought oh boy I will be down maybe a size or two, but no..........same size, reason being I was lets say a (little!) overstuffed in my old ones, thought there was just noway I am going to go into and bigger size so I kept on squeezing, needless to say old bra was pretty stretched out!! lol! does'nt resemble anything like my new one lol! -

I get up at 5:00am I am at curves buy 6:15 before I go I have a bannana, around 10:00am I have some hommus with zuchinni and mushrooms, at about 3:00pm I have a chicken salad or shrimp salad and a piece of bread (65 cal) I do have a jello pudding for a snack (60cal) and light whippo, and sometimes I sneak in a jellow with whippo the jiggly kind (5cal) I also sometime during the day for a snack will grab a piece of ham or a beef slice. I have not been lossing say for good month and a half but have in inches, and my clothes are definetly bagger, I actually down another pant size, but I am wondering if i am getting enough protien, what is everyone esle doing? Also I know we are suppose to only eat 3 times a day, but I need those snacks, is that ok you think? its a long day for me!

Hey Kate thanks, what you said made sense, forsure I am not getting enough calories, and not the right ones, (right now I am at 219 from 261) I went pack on my nutriton tracker, and found I was barely getting my protien in maybe 20 - 30 a day if that, so today Im switching things up, I am going to shoot for at least 60 protien a day and up my calorie intake, and forsure I am in a routine, thanks everyone for your daily menus, it was very helpful as I seemed to have forgot how to eat right (starving myself) I am back on track today! Now I am at myself for wasting time!! arrggg! -

Thanks Cher, I decied I would bump up my calories this morning, I am going to aim for 1200 I am going to give that a try for a week and see if it puts me back into some weight loss, this morning I had a lil something something before my walk and work out, after I got to work and got started about my day I had some breakfast, followed by a nice ceasar prawn salad with walnuts and red onion for lunch, and a chicken stir fry for dinner, oh had a jello snack too, in just this one day I felt the differnce with eating twice in the morning, I am stuffed! I also went through my closet today and got rid of a box full of clothes that are now to big! YA! I'll keep you updated on my progress, thanks again Val. -

Cher, I was banded end of Jan, all went well and I am down 41 pounds, but I have not moved for almost 2 months, inches 45.5! so that is something, but man that scale is not a budgin! I do exercise 5 days a week, this includes the curve cicuite and walking daily, I have anywhere from 750 - 1000 calories per day, should I be eating more? I do believe tho from the posts I have read that I need more protien, can you give me an idea of what your menue is like on any given day, thanks, Val -

Hey Kate, thanks, its hard when you don't see the pounds move , I'm so geared to the scale , like its a god (evil god) lol ! I had hoped I would lose 8 pounds a month but..... nothing this month at all, although I did drop 3 but it came back ahhhh! I'm thinking maybe with the walking and exercise I need more calories, I don't know! lol I mean is this band not about eating less? I hear people say you eat to little you go into starvation mode, but.........if you are full and satisfied you are to stop, I mean at some point the starvation mode has to stop no? anyway I don't know, now Iam just blabbering. -

Wow your calorie intake does not seem much more than mine, and looks like I have more food, I figured your to be around 800 for the day give or take a few calories since I don't know what type of pudding you had or how much soup, but maybe I should up it a bit, god seems to me I am still fixed on the calories! -
