  1. Thank you for posting this. I'm getting my sleeve on Tuesday July 8 .. You've given me some good ideas for meal options.
  2. Wynnie... Congratulations on your loss so far! How are you feeling now that you're 1 week post op? My surgery is 7/8... I start my pre op diet on 6/28. I have lost 20 pounds since my first initial visit with my surgeon. Something clicked in my head. I was simply ready to move forward and I have been able to stop using food. Honestly though, I think it's also that I know that I will have my sleeve soon and this is a serious decision. I know that I could lose weight without the sleeve but I would not lose what I need to and it would creep back on. At least with the sleeve I have a fighting chance at maintaining a healthy weight. I will never feel guilt for choosing my health. Sooo how are you feeling?

    Bad day yesterday!

Yesterday is gone. Recommit today, think about why you got sleeved and move forward. Try not to hate yourself for your bad day it's so counter productive.
  4. Hello all, I will be sleeved on July 8. I begin my pre-op liquid diet on June 28 and I have completed all of my pre-surgery requirements. I have my pre surgery appointment with my surgeon on Monday. I am so excited and ready to get on with my life. I had been thinking about surgery for some time but it was reaching an all time high of 342 and being in so much physical pain that brought me to my final decision. I will turn 47 before my surgery. I have been married for 26 years and we have 3 grown kids and 1 grandchild. Our 21 year old son still lives at home. I have told my immediate family and everyone has been very supportive.
