    Week 6: May 27-31st Sleevers

Doing well! Down 85lbs so far. I'm still not eating to my full calories because I am getting too full too fast. I have been doing well on protein, drinking 100 calorie sugar free muscle milk(one a day) and one think thin bar a day. I can't get through either in one sitting though. Lots of water and have had some snags with our home, so I'm doing good what I can with it.

    Week 6: May 27-31st Sleevers

Everyone seems to be doing really well. This is a week one pic and a week 6 I believe. I'm now down 56lbs and under 300! So exciting. My mom threw me a party to celebrate yesterday, so it's great to have that support. Entering week 9, I want to concentrate more on proteins and veggies only. I've veered off the diet path slightly by eating a lot of Udon soup, but it has so much sodium. Problem is, it's the only thing I'm really hungry for. I'm eating every two hours it seems like. Still losing weight, but want to lose faster! Finally ran at the gym for 6 mins! So happy about this new life I've made. Happy Sunday y'all!

    Week 6: May 27-31st Sleevers

@@devint I had horrible shoulder pain 4 days post surgery and since there was most likely not gas left, the dr said it was the mesh they use to sew up the top of the stomach rubbing on my esophagus. I had that while laying down since it would move sideways. Now I have really horrible lower back pain. It's been bad for 6 days now, and I'm thinking it's because my back is overcompensating for my stomach that is no longer big and bloated. At first I thought kidney infection, but urine is normal and no uti. I'm going to the chiro tomorrow to see if I can get adjusted. Hopefully it helps!

I am envious of all of you eating cake! I bought a "nothing bundt cake" yesterday for my moms bday but didn't eat any out of fear. I've lost so much that I don't want to stop that, but I also don't want to deprive myself. I haven't eaten any carbs other than a super small amount of rice and some udon noodles. Other than that, I eat a lot of soup and puddings. I don't want to be afraid to eat, but I don't want to blow it either. I guess it just depends on how you feel you can lose weight with what you eat. I am having a hard time with exercising because I'm having bad lower back pain the last 3 days, so I've been in bed all day today. I doubt it's surgery related, but I'm watching it closely. If it continues, I'm going to have to suck it up and go to the dr. 10lbs away from 200-land so I'm excited!

    Week 5: May 27-31st Sleevers

HW: 355 SW: 350 CW: 313 Started back at orange theory fitness this weekend, ate out twice(just ordered plain fish and steamed veggies; took the rest home), and continuing good weight loss. I take all my Vitamins after dinner so I have a semi full stomach, and I've never had a problem. I'm still not hitting my calorie or Water goal, but I'm trying really hard! I'm tracking everything through MyFitnessPal and I like the ease of use. Lots of good progress for everyone! Happy Monday!

I'm sorry but why would you call us liars....? I'm slightly confused here. Did anyone else catch that? I'm not here to lie to anyone about my weight. I'm here for support and to learn from people through experience. And please don't single us out for putting an email on this thread. I think that draws more attention than anything else. I've said my peace. Other than that, happy Friday!

Oh no that's awful dear. You need the support of a wonderful doctor who you can go to at any time if you have questions or concerns. See if he had a colleague or his office can recommend someone to you. I'm sure the staff has been notified to give you all another doctors number. Get help before you're depressed love. I'm always online and here if you need someone to talk to. <3

    Week 4: May 27-31st Sleevers

HW 355 SW 350 CW 318 Woohoo! Getting closer to the 50lb mark! Hope everyone is doing well. Puréed foods have done me well. No more diarrhea, and much nicer to eat! Been using my nutri bullet almost daily and it's been so great! I had one problem with eating too fast though. I went swimming with the fam on Saturday and I think I got too hungry. Threw up a tiny bit, but was fine after that. It's a learning process, so that was my time lol. Happy Monday ya'll!!

    Week 4: May 27-31st Sleevers

Everyone is doing fantastic! How long is everyone planning on being in the purée stage? I think my dr said about two weeks or more. The best tool I've found in this stage is the NutriBullet. My husband went out and bought it for us, and I've used it every day since. I purre fruits and veggies. Made a butternut squash Soup. Healthy shakes for work. It's amazing! I'm going to stick close by that and lots of Beans and soft means like canned chicken or tuna. It all went down easy enough so we will see. I'd love to hear what others are doing during this phase two of foods and what you guys are finding works for you. Keep it up!! We can lose tons of weight if we just focus and remember our goals. Let's do this!!!

    Week 2: May 27-31st Sleevers

My problem right now is that I can't get in the amount of liquid per day that I need. The dr says 64oz but at least shoot for 48oz. I can hardly hit 30! At this point I'm not counting any calories since it's all just liquid. I am just frustrated that I can't get all of it in. I am not hungry at all so it's like I'm just forcing it. I can feel everything go down and once I have a few sips I'm done. Anyone else have this same feeling??

"]Anyone have issues with reflux? Surprisingly no. I had it really bad before surgery, but I've been on the meds the dr gave me and it's much better. I guess people that had to have the hernia repair are more likely to get reflux, so I've been told )

    Week 2: May 27-31st Sleevers

Hello all! I was sleeved on May 28th. I'm two weeks out now and am down 27lbs. One more week of liquids and then I can start on soft mushy food(yes!!!). I've had no trouble at all with anything. No pain, no aches, and I've really been wanting to get back in the gym. I'm going to settle for walks for now though. This process is so exciting and I'm happy to share with others who are going though it too. Congratulations and a big hello to all new sleevers!!
