- so I am a week post op and I feel like I can drink as much as I want of any thin liquid. Obviously with cream soups puddings or jello I feel full fast but is there anyone out there that can chug water or any thin liquid and be fine? I feel like I'm the only one!

Hi! I had my surgery Monday the 23rd and It took Me all day (literally) to drink my one protein Shake and some water. It gets easier everyday. I'm on my 6th day post op and just yesterday I felt like I can actually get fluids down. Day by day (: u got this! -

Oh Dangit..that sucks my abdomen is a little tender still but over all I feel amazjng. It happened over night lol I'm a little weirded out. I just wanna make sure like I'm not being a big oinker by being able to eat a whole pudding cup. I def couldn't eat more than the pudding cup but..I was able to finish it with no problems. Please tell me someone else out there can too! Lol

It's really weird...yesterday I could barely drink 1 protein drink all day...and a few bites if soup...and today I had 2 protein drinks, few bites of soup and a pudding cup. And I def make sure to listen to my tummy and make sure I'm not over eating. It's like from yesterday to today I feel fantastic.

I had surgery on the 23rd so I'm 5 days post op and still no bm. I was on liquid 2 weeks prior to surgery too! If you feel constipated then keep taking your softeners otherwise just wait for it to come. Lol I've heard some ppl that go 11 days without a bm. I've also heard people drinking smooth move tea and that helps them but make sure it doesn't have caffeine in it ( my doc says no caffeine) good luck!! I'm waiting with ya! Haha

I haven't had pudding or jello yet.. I've only been able to get a little water down and like one protein shake a day. I was sleeved Monday! But everyone's different, and the bubbles are just has and your body trying to get used to everything. -

Have my stomach scope tomorrow and my pre op appointment Tuesday. I'm nervous!!!!! Did anyone else get there stomach scoped?? And if so did it hurt your throat afterwards?
