  3. Went from 44 DD. 36 c and that's push-up gosh didn't realize I would loose them completely . However I not complaining was on disability for 5 years and now I'm a new woman back to work and loving life !!!
  4. Anyone in southwestern pa?
  5. Kookichu Hi It has been a while since checking in on 11/7 I will be 3 months out . Once started at 267 at surgery 250 now 202 . I was size 22/24 , 3 & 4xl shirts now 16 , and xl shirts what an amazing feeling . I can relate to your tailbone issue omg it can be quiet painful at times . I seem to have more energy now then prior to surgery . I am slowly able to tolerate more the only thing I'm having issues with is beef . I can eat it if smothered in gravy but otherwise it just stick regardless of how much I chew . My liquids are main issue I always have bottle of Water but to drink it in an hour still is hard for me . I return to Dr . On 11/18 I am pretty happy with my loss so far . I was at a standstill for about 3 weeks . It finally went from 214 down to 202 so glad that is back on its way to weightless . I'm going to much hanging skin but my benefits are far better . Take care I will keep you updated after appointment .
  6. Thank you so much for your reply I will check into "curves" and see if we can financially do it . I try to eat 6 small meals but most of the time my day doesn't allow.
  7. Ok so today I just went to dr found I have white cells and blood in urine which could explain as to why my back has been hurting . The real kicker is I have been having a rough time getting 64 ounces of fluid and now I have only lost 3 more lbs . Yes it's 3 closer to my goal weight but discouraging that it's only 3 lbs . Any suggestions to me to continue ?
  8. Wow you look amazing . Can I ask how or what you did once you started to level out and not loose anymore ? I have lost 50 lbs and now it's coming off slow . I am only 5 weeks out and am trying to get in my 64 ounces but sometimes it's very hard . Should I be more concerned with my protein intake at this point ? Any advice would be greAtly appreciated.
  9. I was never so relieved to be home also . I have a chihuahua , 5 children and my husband . It was nice to have them help mom for once lol . They still try to say mom you shouldn't be doing this yet . Do I just google "up band "?
  10. Wow you are bruised congrats on going for a mile walk that is awesome . I have yet to walk that distance . Good luck glad to hear your going home and having a great day !!
  11. Soft foods seem to be working ok . I am however having some issues with low back pain I'm thinking possible bladder kidney stones which I have had in the past I'm hoping not . They say trust "your gut" mine says stones . This is not what I need at this point . I'm having a hard time distinguishing fullness . I get pain between my shoulder blades not into my chest so I am just going with that . I am not wanting to "dump". Other than these couple issues and stress things are looking up . Just right now it's very hard not to allow the stress to take over !! I was an emotional eater before surgery and so this is the true test and so far I have am "A" . So please keep me in your prayers that I remain strong and get through this bumpy ride . I never said it was going to be easy as others think . I'm just asking for continued strength because I can do this !
  12. @@InspirationMySon that incision will be the most tender and will take a while longer to heal . I had a burning sensation on the inside of my stomach when it was healing . I know the protein shake was thick for me also . I am a month of and am still working up to my 64 ounces of water a day . It all takes time feel better . Wishing you a speedy recovery .
  13. @@InspirationMySon the has pain will get better with the more movement you do . Honestly it does get easier however right now it seems like eternity til that happens . You will feel better healing at home just remember go slow your healing .

What an amazing person you are to have to patiently wait all day long . I can say I probably would not be handling as well . I am understanding but what a long day for both you and the dr. Prayers being sent to you for a speedy recovery and see you in the losers bench it's an amazing feeling to finally getting your body and weight under control !!!
  19. Kookichu I hope all is going well in this amazing journey we are in . Today I had my visit and I was in complete awe . Thinking these past couple weeks I haven't lost a thing . Due to insurance I only needed three months to prepare myself . So I started my journey may 5 and had surgery Aug 7 like I said prior to you . Before surgery lost 16 lbs and it was such a struggle . One week post -op I lost 18 lbs and today two weeks later so five days shy of one month out . I lost 13 lbs. Total on this journey I have lost 47 lbs . Unbelievable I feel amazing . Dr.said today one more month of the Pepcid and then off . That's four meds I have stopped without trouble . It was rough at first with pain burning and all but nothing compares to the pure satisfaction as what I have experienced in just 4 short months . So well worth it and to top it off . I get to start soft foods . I am excited can you tell . So thankful to have responded to your post . Keep up the great work and glad we have corresponded . At 44 I feel the best I have ever felt in 22 plus years . Let the journey and adventure continue .

    Post op pain

I am three weeks out and I occasionally have that same pain . It hurts when I forget and move too quickly . I go for my check up Tom hoping to find some good news . Good luck it will ease up and not hurt every day .
  21. Wow I just sat here reading your journey . What an amazing inspiration . I am two weeks post op and it is still a struggle getting my pills in . I have a burning sensation continually no matter whether I am drinking or eating . I have been moved from full liquids to puréed however I prefer to chew several times as you did . I started my journey in May 2014 at 267 . Surgery was aug 7 and weighed 251 . One week post op I was down to 233 . I return to dr on Sept 2 hoping for a good outcome . I feel great I just wish I could get rid of this burning sensation. It truly is a killer . I too have had many say this is the easy way out . I can not have negativity in my life . This is not about becoming thin however it is a benefit . I did this to become healthier and to see my children grow up and enjoy life . Thank you again for sharing your story .
  22. Make sure you are sipping and not gulping. Also make sure it not very cold it will cause cramping. Review your food journal, see if you had any Proteins or veggies that are harder to digest they will also cause stomach cramps. Hope this helps. Hi I'm Vicki I had RNY on aug 7 and I did fine also In the hospital even had chicken and beef broth I have kept everything done . Now when at home I sip water like warm cold it doesn't matter I still feel like my stomach is going to explode also I have my stomach doing flip flops N it even growls occasionally however I'm not sure I'm ready for puddinds, oatmeal etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated .
