I am 5 days out of surgery and already tired of Protein shakes, broth and Jello. The pain is not too bad. I take my pain medicine every 4 hours. My husband is right here with me and such a support. The surgery went perfect. I will soon be a new me. Good look everyone.

start pre-opt diet tomorrow
Susan Sharp Campbell posted a topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I have a surgery date - August 18, after starting this in March. I start my pre-opt diet tomorrow. I have my Protein shakes and have tried a few, not sure on these. Any suggestions? Also where do most people get your chewable Vitamins? online? I am so excited to start this journey. I am 55 years old, actually just had a birthday. As most of you out there have fought my weight for many years. This will be the beginning of my new life. -

I am new to this site, thought I was on top of everything. I have Cigna HMO, did my 3 months with the nutritionist. My coordinator at the surgeons office said she submitted everything and now I call Cigna and they say it was denied. They are missing information,,,,,what??? So I email the coordinator and ask her to get on it tomorrow. So I am crossing my fingers and hoping this is not the first of an uphill battle. I am so ready to get a surgery date. I have been to the physcologist and the nutritionist and got my support group and ready to go. I have read the books. I dd hat Cigna said to do. I want my surgery. Why do they make it so hard?
