Morning sleevers! So i've been a silent follower for the past few months - but have really started getting disheartened about this darn stall, so decided to reach out to you guys for some advice.
The facts:
Highest pre-surgery weight (10 weeks ago): 226
Day of surgery weight (6 weeks ago): 213
Today's weight: 201
I know I'm down 25 pounds from my highest weight & that wouldn't have happened without this surgery. But I haven't seen the number go down in over 3 weeks! I was ready for the stall, I read about it, I knew it was coming - but when the heck will it leave? I want to start losing again already!
The reality:
I was BLESSED! No complications from surgery. 2 weeks think liquids, then 2 weeks soft/pureed foods and then that was it. I could eat anything after that. No issues with acid, slime, any of that.
I can't eat a lot, but I do eat little meals (up to 5) throughout the day
I'm guilty of not getting enough Protein in - i was so good with the shakes pre-op because i would just chug them. Because I can't chug now, I just can't stand them!
I try to get all my Water in - but usually only get in half of what i'm suppose to
I know folks are probably going to tell me that I need to get in more protein/water/exercise - but shouldn't I be losing weight just because I'm eating so much less?
I AM SO AFRAID THAT I WILL BE THE PERSON THIS SURGERY DOESN'T WORK FOR!!!
