Welcome blueyelady57, you're doing really well. I had my 4th fill today which brought me up to 7cc in a 10cc band. I can feel a difference already... hopefully it lasts. Looks like I might meet my Spring challenge goal.

I'm staying on plan today because I'm getting my 4th fill and I want it to be the one.

Thanks Longhorn. That's exactly where I want to be. I was losing heaps when I was on around 900 cals a day. I'm eating anywhere between 1200 - 2000 cals at the moment. Good for maintaining, not losing. I'll let you know how I go with this one.

Well I'm going for my 4th fill tomorrow. I'm hoping I'll get another 1cc because I am still able to eat more than I want. That should take me to 7.5cc. I'm so ready to get more weight off. I lost 3 lbs in the last 2 weeks but have been eating too much in the last couple of days... hopefully haven't done too much damage.

Hi Dawn, it's hard when you don't have support around you. I'm from Australia so I can't help you as far as fills are concerned but happy to chat. Hope you find someone on here who can help find a fill doc for you. Take care and try not to be too hard on yourself.

If it's not getting worse then it sounds like it should get better. Good luck.

I'm still trying to work out when the "easy way out" kicks in !! I just came back from my walk which I have been doing every day and trying to keep to a low calorie count... easy, I don't think so ! :thumbup:

Sorry to hear about this Longhorn. I haven't had my period for at least 2 years. On of my sisters had to have a semi hysterectomy a few years ago. She seems fine now. I hope you don't have to go through it though. Keep us posted.

I sometimes wonder the same thing but the reality is that I have lost 31 lbs and kept it off in the last few months. Sure I could have lost another 10 or on top of that but I'm not going to beat myself up about it. I made a decision when I had the op that I was going to lose my weight in the next 8 months or so... I still have around 5 months to go. I also made a decision that I wasn't going to stop living because I like socialising and having the odd cake, alcoholic drink etc. So if that means not losing my weight as fast as some then so be it but I know that I will lose. Normal living for all of my slim friends is exactly what we are doing... good 90% of the time and letting go 10% of the time. Makes sense to me. Anyway thanks for sharing and keep on doing what you are doing because you've certainly frog leaped over me by a mile.

Hi Janet, welcome to LBT. Come join us other November 2007 bandsters... November 07 Bandsters. That way you can keep track with people who were banded at the same time and are pretty much at the same stage as you.

I'm staying on plan today because it's great watching the scale go down again.

My doc has given me 6.5 over 4 fills so he is obviously doing the same thing. My restriction is ok but I know it can be much better so I'm hoping the next one does it.

I'm at 6.5cc in a 10cc band and my restriction is still quite low. I'm going for my 4th fill next week so hopefully that will get me to the point I need.

There are people on here who have 7.5cc. I will be getting more next Wednesday because for me 6.5cc is not enough to stop me eating. I don't get as hungry in between meals and I'm satisfied on less but I can certainly still tuck away a fair bit. I would think my next fill would bring me to 7 or 7.5cc which should do the trick. I have been losing the same 2-3 lbs over the last couple of months so I know how frustrating that can be. I'm finally going down, losing new weight !! :smile2:

I hope it clears up for you. I think mine cleared up quickly because as soon as I noticed it was red etc, I went to the doctor and got onto the antibiotics. Keep us posted.

Hi Jane, sorry to hear you feel alone. It's scarey when going through something like this, especially when you read all the horror stories. I hope your next round of antibiotics does it for you. What did the doctor say? This is how mine looked at its worst.

I was banded on 1 Nov and have 6.5cc in a 10cc band. I have lost 31 lbs post op. I am going for my 4th fill on Wed 27 Feb which hopefully should give me the restriction I am looking for.
