I started my research on Bariatric surgery for my mother who is wheelchair bound and has atrophied her feet at this time. I see how she stopped living and started considering my own future. My life is very active I hike, swim, camp, boat and suddenly realized I was struggling to live. My BF suffered a stroke and I lost sight of me during his recovery, god bless he's doing fabulous! This is where I began my journey... I found this site searching for active members who want to share their experience and advice through this process and in turn share mine. I finally found me again through this journey and truly appreciate this new life and look forward to hoping on and off the boat without struggling and feeling like I can't anymore...EVER.
