I started my journey many years about but did not get serious until about two years ago. I had notice several of my co-workers were slowly getting smaller and smaller. At first I thought they had been sick, so I decided to ask them what they did. They all said they had the gastric bypass, all of them said they fell so much better. One of my co-workers suggested the gastric sleeve, so I started doing research. I read everything I could find on the web about the surgery procedure for gastric sleeve. It took me two years to do the research and make up my mind that I was finally ready to have the surgery. I have already had the psych evaluation, nutrition classes and now I am waiting for the insurance to approve the procedure. I had a doctors visit today so its just a matter of when will I hear from the insurance company and when to have the surgery. My husband and daughter are very supportive of me doing this which is a very good thing. I am looking forward to the new and healthy me!!
