Try Core Power at Walmart, one has 20 mg protein and another has 26gms , I find the chocolate is good.

The H.pylori is treatable with antibiotics. Didn't he write u a script for it? Google it and u can read about it. There is even a place somewhere on this site that tells about it. Good luck

I found a new drink at Walmart called Core Power. It has 26gms of protein. I tried the chocolate it was good. They r a bit pricy though, but if u drink 1 a day to begin with your getting in so much protein.

I'm getting so nervous over hair loss from all the comments on here. I'm taking 10,000 mcg of biotin daily and my sleeve isn't till Oct. my hair falls out a lot every shampoo already I hate to have more coming out later. My mother had gastric bypass aprox 35 years ago when it was so new. Her hair is about gone... And she's just 79. Guess I need to start finding other things to take or use for hair loss. My hair over the years has thinned so much that it's straight and flat!

I agree the prep is worse, has to stick that needle in your arm. My dr decided he wanted my blood work done at that time also. But it was good, I didn't feel much she put a numbing shot in first. Best thing is I was home in 3 hrs time and I live 30 min from there, had small breakfast biscuit then home. Good luck for tomorrow.

I've mentioned on another forum Biotin, you can buy at Walmart. Suppose to be good for hair, nails and skin. I get sleeved in Sept so started it now to see if it will help.

My surgeon has told everyone in his practice that the Flinstones chewable are good. The bariatric ones are more expensive but just as good.

My ins required 6 month PCP visits, cardiologist visit (don't know what u do with him), pulmonary function test, EKG, psychiatrist visit, EDG, Nutrician visit, support group for Nutrician and a exercise meeting where u do ride dif machines. Wow oh and a lot of blood work and X-ray. Hope that helps, they are all not bad to do. Good Luck

I have bipolar with anxiety. Question is how do you take your meds? I'm on 3 dif ones and they can't b crushed! No capsules just pills, dr said I can't take whole at first, then if smaller than m&m can take. But that's like when your eating food.

Why didn't you use them? What did you use instead? I was going to buy some but if I don't need tot hens wont.

Kat619, have u tried unsweetened Popsicles ? Ice chips, try that and see if it helps somewhat. If sucking on Popsicles work then freeze Gatorade see if u can suck on that. If not you will have to go back to hospital for IV's. Good luck

I walked pass windows at a Mexican restaurant yesterday. Turned and told my fiancé this is the reason I'm having wls ( one of reasons) I don't look that big in my mirror at home. Even nurses at hospital for EDG said I didn't need it done. Then I told them my weight... I carry it well I guess.

Yes you need to call your PCP and let him know what is going on. He will make decision or just go to ER. You need to get fluids in you.

My husband is 100% supportive but I do get concerned that he really doesnt not undestand the magnitude of change making. Take him with you to a nut meeting. I took my fiancé and he's learned a lot. Also tells me no more eating out...huh? We will eat out I'm not cooking every day lol. I'll just eat a bite or 2 off his plate

Oh my, I sneeze like 3-4 times a day with my allergies. Sneezing a staple out isn't what I would like to do. Does it effect the staples inside you?

Hi, I have GERDS to the extent they found a hiatal hernia in me. Dr said he will fix that before he does the sleeve , all at the same time. I may not have to continue with my medication after surgery, yeah me! lol
