With my first apt.they did height, weight. Then into another room with NUT and RN, they talked about what I ate and habits I needed to break. Onto my medication lists and problems I have, sleep apnea, copd ect... Saw the surgeon I was terrified! lol. But he talked nice explained what we were doing and asked if I had questions. I also got the 6 month PCP nut appointments and what I have to go through like psychiatrist and cardio and more. Really wasn't bad but I was there good 2 hours. Go be happy and learn all you can.

Is anyone else hungry
#9grammy replied to Chub_Light's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have been trying to do the slow eating, just isn't going to happen now. As far as drinking it goes hand in hand for me... I know I have to learn not to. On 2 allergy pills that dry you up so bad I need that drink in between. I'll bet when I can only eat couple spoonfuls I will do much better. quote name="getnhealthyintx" post="3555675" timestamp="1406496425"]I have head hunger and I amd 2 1/2 mo post surgery. I wish I had followed the eating slow and no drinking thing before to practice. -
Jdillon , I'm so sorry she took the photos anyway. Why can't others learn to respect ones wishes? I don't know how many times I've been in your situation, a lot of us have. Best wishes on your surgery to skinny! And Healthy...

Sounds to me like you should find a new shrink. I've been seeing mine for 6 years now and he still says I can't work. So now I'm retired. I've never given blood or plasma, does it hurt at all? -
Calling All Tricare policy holders!
#9grammy replied to Bring It On's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Bring it on, good luck I've talked with Tricare couple times asking each month if they will change and cover my sleeve with them being a secondary ins. Nope they don't cover sleeves. It's just not fair they usually cover things under the Medicare guidelines but not this :-( -
