I am 4 months out and a total lost of 88 lbs. I still need to loose 25lbs more to reach my goal. I am feeling nervous. I do not want to get comfortable. I feel like being comfortable was the reason why before my gastric sleeve I would lose then gain weight. I feel so terrified that if I do not stick to the plan I will become that 268 lb girl again. Do anybody else feel that way.

Thanks to you both. It is nice to here that other people are experiencing what I feel.

My surgeon told me that I will be cold all time because of how much and how quickly I have lost fat. He said that is common. I am cold all the time.

SW 228 CW 208 Thanksgiving goal 199. -
I truly understand. Are you getting in your protein and water. That is very important. Are you exercising? Also my surgeon and nutritionist told me that people who do not have a lot to lose will lose slower than people who are more heavy. Also call your nutritionist and talk to him/her.

sa1976 replied to HalloweenBaby24's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I understand you exactly. I was sleeved on 9/11. I am tired. But I force myself to workout. Yesterday I was so tired I did not make it to the gym. So after my nap I pull ed out my Zumba DVD and dance for an hour with the kids. Then I felt better. -

I just experience that today. I had ate 2 tablespoons of lobster bisque. I started to get abdominal cramps and had to run to the toilet. No lobster bisque for me anymore.???????????? -
Today is my anniversary and my husband took me to our favorite restaurant. The waitress was looking at me crazy. I ate 1/2 crab cake and 3 spoons of soup. I was so full. I was sitting talking to my husband and just thinking last year at this time I would be able to eat 2 crab cakes ands whole bowl of lobster soup for a starter and then eat lobster dinner. Thank God I am on the other side.

Given the clearance to go back to the gym
sa1976 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My surgeon stated I can go back to the gym. It is so weird to me to be tired after walking on the treadmill for 45 mins. Before surgery I was up to an hour of treadmill and 30 minutes of circuit training and 30 minutes on the elliptical 5 days a week. I trying to tell myself I will get back there. -

sa1976 replied to Fox-E's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My nut and surgeon will only allow me to take chewable vitamins and chewable calcium citrate. -
Feeling better was able to get my 60 grams of protein in. Also all my vitamins in. I am still sit but not enough for pain meds. Just trying to stay focus on hydration.
-
My surgeon is very up on preventing malabsorption so him and my nutritionist makes us start our vitamins and Prilosec. For the past two days, I just been focusing on sipping throughout the day. I can only maybe get in 2 oz. at a time. Then I wait a couple of minutes and drink some more. In my 64 oz that includes my protein shakes.
-
That is great. I was the same way. When I came home I could only drink about 4 oz of the premier shake and it took me a half of day.
-
@nothinks. I drink two premier shakes a day. I started at 6:30 am. Sipping on liquids. To get in the 64 oz. I am just focusing on protein and fluids. I do get my vitamins because they are chewable.
