I am very interested in helping with recipes,eventhough I'm not banded yet,but my appt. with the nutritionist and doctor is tomorrow,so soon I'll be in bandland. I do have different eating habits than most Americans,but if you don't mind,I'll help.

Someone told me of a Spinach pie with layers of cottage cheese and swiss cheese in the oven,no eggs.

Does anybody here like Indian food? A lot of their stuff is mushy. I'm not sure about the spices.. Do we become suceptable to spices?

Laura,you are a new person! I do weigh 240, so I have a longer way to go. You are our inspiration, we will work till the end to get so pretty and sexy. What happens if you suddenly gainweight,do you go in for a fill? How does that work? My ppt. with the nutritionist (for the before surgery appt.) and Dr. is on Tuesday. I might get a date then,right? My stomach keeps having these butterflies...

Laura, I did not get banded yet, but I will very soon. Did you have any plastic surgery done like TT,or is all of that natural? You look great and you really have inspired us. I'm 5.1" and need to be 100lbs. less. I can't wait.

My cousin had it done in Israel,lost 100 lbs. and looks great! The other people in my family had it done in Venezuela and Panama. -

I also suffer from panic attacks and I'm taking buspar and lexapro. Buspar makes me very sleepy. When I get a panic attack I take ativan and put the pill under my tongue. These medicines made me gain a lot of weight. How did you deal with the surgery itself? did you take any Xanax before you went to the hospital? Let me know.

How is the diet? Is it all liquids? Like clear liquids?

I am waiting for a response from the insurance company. My Dr. finally gave them a letter of necessity and a clearance letter. Now I have to wa:notagreeit for BCBS.
