Did anyone see the new celebrity fit club? Weight related forums help me in my own weight struggle. I love to see success because it let's me know what I am doing is doable. I didn't know that Carnie Wilson had gained that much weight back and I didn't know that Angie Stone had sarcoidosis in turn the steroids she was on as treatment caused her to blow up. I think she is beautiful as is but she is use to weighting 133 pounds at 5'3".

Donna I can say it Bulllllllllllsssssshhhhhhhhhhhh................. It's hard to believe when this is their very first post and don't give any details of where it was done, who the surgeon was, how long they had been on lbt and so on.

Saturday morning walk was good. I was fired up because I am not walking through the week. It was warm out but I had to get it done. I walked fast and still 1 hour. I was determined to do more so I went to the track and did 1 mile. I was going to do another but the sun hit me and I said nope that was enough. LOL Sunday was gorgeous, it was 68 but felt like 78. LOL It felt good to walk, I have been going to the park long of enough now that I am a regular. There are just some folks you see every week and you wave, nod or say good morning. It puts that smile on your face and makes you feel good that your are a part of the little people. I am still the biggest one down there but that is ok because I am getting healthier and stronger. I'm excited about the weather changing so I can walk after work again. I need to find a walking buddy. I like walking by myself sometimes but I know that someone else would push me to speed up when I don't want to. Office walk/jog today 8:05 6min 9:30 11 12:05

Yes that is normal. The bed or sofa can drain you and the anesthesia takes forever to wear off. Like Kathy said Protein should help boost your energy. Beans are a good source of protein. Slim fast optima, it has sugar but if you are not eating it's ok. Atkins advantage shakes are full of protein and less sugar. Low fat yogurt, sugar free pudding and etc. Are you taking Vitamins, they help and walking will help you get your energy back. Start walking around in your home and sit when you have to. Good Luck

A lot of banded have figured out if you drink something hot before trying to eat this opens the band a little bit more. Since your magnesium was low did you have any cramping, your legs or hands? -

Jodi it is really great to see you with this positive attitude. You will succeed. Exercise is movement so if you sit in a chair and puch your arms out in front of you and above your head that is cadio and strength training. Lie on your back and kick your legs, do the bicycle with your legs, anything to build up a sweat. You have to raise your heart rate to get the cardio going. This is a great hand pedler you can use with your hands or feet while sitting in a chair. Avon use to sell them. If you don't have one, just use your hands and make the pedling motion and you can raise your heart rate. -
I do know that if you eat or drink dairy products after you eat the hot food, that will cool your mouth off but I don't know about it coming out.

I was drained when I got home yesterday. I said ok I will just sit for a little while. I got up to start cooking, almost finished I laid down for a few minutes. I got up ate, kept thinking about exercise, didn't do it. Then I decided the place was a mess. So I made the child do the dishes and vacuum. LOL I mopped the kitchen floor, the bathroom sink, the tub. Put away all the clothes in the living room. We take off our clothes in the living room evidently...LOL OK cleaned my placed. 2 minute walk/jogs in place hourly today 9:25 10:40 12:15 12:30 I'm gonna have a mile before I leave here today. 2:15 1 mile so far (wow jogging is good) 2:55

Great job on the exercise, just keep it up and your husbands shirts will be falling off of you.

You are almost there. The important thing after surgery is to stay hydrated. You won't be thinking about food for a few days but you will be thirsty. Keep up the great work.
