    Hello I did my first 5K in May and it was an awesome feeling to complete a 5K at about 399 pounds. I will join you in this challenge. There is a walk for domestic violence coming up in October but I will look for one before that date so I can do more then one. I will say I will walk it in 1 hour if it is flat terrain.     :wave: That would be me ......if I had one that went high enough. I do get so excited when I weigh in once a week at TOPS. My SIL is getting me one but I think they want to give it to me as a house warming present. poohy When I do get it, I am going to get on it all day long. When I get up, before and after I eat or use the potty. You know 8 to 15 times a day. LOL

    Motivation/Exercise

    Hey you guys I have to say Thank You. You guys really motivated me last night. I have been doing a little bit of floor exercise in the evenings and walking more at work but when I got home last night I really wanted to do something. I did a full workout of stretches and floor exercises last night. I have been sitting still at 50 for too long know. I have become content and scared to do anything more. I have not reached my end of the year goal so know it will become my new Valentines Day Goal and I will reach it. I will lose 12 pounds by Feb 15. I can do it and I will. I will exercise everyday, no matter how much time it is I will do it.:banana :banana :banana I need you guys to ask me everyday, did you exercise or what did you do. Thanks

She is still going to have to be the one to have portion control and exercise. She must have stopped exercising. They will probably do her blood work also to be sure she is not just starving herself. The team who loses the most get gifts. They also win exercise equpiment, spa visits and so on throughout the show.

    I can come in here and do back flips and cartwheels.....whooohooooo I LOST 4 POUNDS LAST NIGHT.........WOOOOHOOOOO.......I NOW WEIGH 3 HUNDRED EIGHTY FIVE POUNDS.......385...YEAHHHHHH I AM SO HAPPY:lol: 459-389-385-380-375 :wow2: I can't wait to get to 375 that is 10 pounds away. August 15 -3 pounds August 22 -3 pounds August 29 -3 pounds I can do this. :humble: I have enough weight that I can lose 3 pounds a week. OK this is where I get stressed out about adding strenght training and causing muscle gain....whhhhhhhhh breath, muscle burns fat. :mad: :eek: :eek: 3min circuit 9:35

    We had a great circuit training workout last night. I loved it, I can see me and my daughter doing that one. OK this is what we did. Hands against the wall as if you are going to do a wall pushup instead lift your knee to your chest and 1 2 3 4 ....10 swictch other kneee and 1 2 3 4....10 Feet together and step right foot out and back together and the left foot out and back togther and out and in out and in out and in right and left righ and left 20 Fist in front of you to punch so twist to the left and puch right arm, twist to the right and punch left and go left punch and right punch left punch and righ punch 20 March in place, and march and march and march and march. All of this can be done while sitting also. Oh yeah the stretches felt good also...whewwwww good work out. I can see myself doing these at home, dare I say everyday:cry You know I am going to do this at work today. So hourly, 2 minute training today. 10am

    Not doing so well on pre op diet

    Teresa yes you are going to do the band just fine. If we all could stick to a strict diet plan we would not need a band. You said you cheated a few times. You didn't say you just refuse to do the shakes and eat everything in sight. You are trying and you have already lost a few pounds. I did not reach my surgeons desired weight but my understanding is the pre op diet is to help shrink the liver so that it is not "flopping around" in my surgeons words. Keep doing your shakes and veggies, try a diffrent seasoning on your veggies. Are you preparing them with chicken or beef broth? Have you put them on a George Foreman grill or roasted them....ummmmm. I love the royal chocolate, cappachino and vanilla optima slimfast. Put your slimfast in the freezer a little while before you have it and it is like a shake. Congratulations and Good Luck Teresa. Stay focused and keep walking.

    LOL 2 boobs on legs. One of the participants had a family member who had GB also and said, I think it was their mother, had lost a lot of weigh fast and has gained a lot of it back. My sister did that but now she is on the losing side again. I think my sister had her surgery about 4 or 5 years ago. Weight loss is not easy no matter who you are or what route you take. Because if it was we would all be 2 boobs on legs.....sorry dezadoo.:laugh
