6 months uh well uhhhhh just order the Soup, mashed potatoes, refried Beans, chili and just say you weren't real hungry and take the rest home. It will look the same if you gurgle, hiccup, burp, breath, sigh, get the distant stare (because you are watching the food go down your esphogus into your pouch and not sure if it is stuck), don't drink while your are eating, take a bite wait forever....sure no one will be the wiser. 6 months I would not call it a portion, more like bites.

A thread for super-sized bandsters - starting BMI over 50?

Tann I saw that also, the 600 pound lady. She had a lot of problems. All I need is some good pain killers. Knock me out and I'll be good. I watched my neighbor heal after breast reduction surgery and that was not easy. Those drainage bulbs get me. Then you have to go back to the doctor and have them pulled out. Yuck, ouch, ohhhh But I have to have this big belly removed. Boobs next and maybe arms, we will have to see about that. I hope my thighs will be ok. For right now I just need to get to 375. -

Did someone say body lift! YES YES THAT WOULD BE ME  I know I am going to need one. I need to lift everything. -
Congratulations!!!! 60 pounds gone, YOU GO GIRL!! That's great that you don't want to hurt their feelings. I have been enjoying wearing old things from my closet that use to be to tight and nOw are loose or just to darn big. The only problem is now I look a mess with these big clothes on and I don't want to buy new clothes until I'm in 26/28 nicely. I'm getting there.

Thank God Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen I feel blessed, I have been given another day to do get it right. I feel so bad for the people in Colorado. I can't imagine what they are going through. I thought the girl that was injured was going to be ok physically but she died. I know that crime is everywhere but I can't stand the murders that are happening with the youth in the DC area. I don't understand what people are thinking about when they decide to take someone's life. The mother that saw her sons body, how aweful.

Brandy W I know the feeling. I have to deal with reality that I am always the biggest where ever I go. I started at 459 and 1 year and 2 months later I'm still usally the biggest but I am at 384 also. Yeahhhhh us! Without the surgery I'm sure I would still be in the 400's..... it is such a lonely place. Keep going to your meetings because everyone is there for the same reason, weight loss. I learned from 2 of my skinny friends that weight loss is hard for everyone. -
Thursday B- sausage, toast (hopefully) s- yogurt L- lettuce, chicken, chips D- grapes, chicken, ice cream bars=gas

July 26, 2006 The Final Countdown Doing the math on your calories adds up to big results. Maybe Biggest Loser cast member Mark Yesitis should have become an accountant instead of a cop. His strategy for fighting flab is all about math--specifically, calorie counting. In fact, he says to, "Carry your calorie book with you. It will fit in your purse or pocket." If you forget it, send a text message to yourself on your cell phone. When it comes to exercising, Mark shows the same kind of vigilance. "For me it's calories in, calories out," he says. "That's why I like cardio machines. The digital readouts tell me exactly how many calories I'm burning with each exercise session. If I want to burn 1,500 calories (which is nearly a half a pound of fat) the machine counts those calories for me. As long as I'm burning more calories during the day than I eat, I'm going to lose weight." Lastly, he keeps strict tabs on his daily caloric allowance. That means, "If your calories for the day don't allow you to eat an entire piece of cheesecake or something else for dessert at a restaurant, eat half of it. Then pour salt on the rest to avoid temptation." The point is calorie counting ends all guessing, confusion, and excuses. Soon enough, you'll be watching the numbers on your scales get smaller and smaller.

September 27, 2006 The Early Bird Loses the Pounds Tune in to The Biggest Loser Wednesday 8/7c on NBC! Not even sleep stops Suzy Preston from exercising Suzy Preston inspired millions on the second season of The Biggest Loser. But nothing can stop her now. Not even a few hours of sleep. At home in Seattle, Suzy still works fulltime. So to keep up her workout schedule, she sets her alarm clock for 4:30 a.m.! That's to get to the gym by 5 a.m. Together, she and her good friend (and gym buddy) do an hour of cardio. Chatting helps pass the time for Suzy. "The weight training to me is fun," Suzy said. "It doesn't feel like working out." So she uses visiting time with her buddy on the treadmill or Stairmaster or whatever to get through that hour. Then her gym buddy has to get home, and Suzy goes to get a bit of Breakfast, fruit for example, and some coffee. Then it's back to the gym at 7 a.m. to work on her weight training. She works with a trainer and they alternate days: upper body one day, lower body the next day. If they've missed some days due to Suzy's schedule, they'll try to touch on all parts.
