I'm thinking turkey spaghetti, salad and jello 850 calories so far.....ummm lot's of calories saved up for dinner. LOL

    Motivation/Exercise

    Tuesday I was watching made and the young lady wanted to lose weight. She wanted to made into a slimmer person:( . I was just talking to someone that day how I can watch exercise shows and want to exercise and just won't so I got down on the floor and proceeded to exercise while the young lady did. (I really like to watch Tae Bo informercials and do them too he he he) I felt good so I went in the hall to do 1 or 2 laps ....I ended up doing 10 :clap2: which is a little over a mile in 20 min. I also went up and down 2 flights of stairs. Goooo me:D .... I really enjoyed doing that. I went to TOPS and did a lap around the parking lot before weighing in and boy am I happy about that. So I am going to try real hard to exercise everyday. Oh yeah did I say I jogged a tad bit here and there while walking....oh yeahhh:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

    Motivation/Exercise

    OK guys back to the exercise.... this is the END of March. APRIL....MAY....and JUNE is HOT. All coats and heavy clothes will be OFF:eek:. Come on guys we have to comit and do this thing now just like LSasha and Kee has been doing for the past 2 months. Band or no band:bandit, there are no excuses:tape2:, we all WILL lose so we can enjoy this summer better:high5:. Next month we should be getting together on the weekends and walking at least 3 miles but we have to start somewhere and HERE :rainbow:marks the spot . We will be doing a 5K in a minute. We can do our own 5K, you know I will. Between MD LBT and 2 to 4 local TOPS chapters.....oh yeahhhhh, sounds like a plan.

    Stocky's Band-day

    Barbra in no time you will be banded :ban:and saying what took them so long. LOL :update: Stocky is doing fine. She was wide awake in the recovery room waving to people she new and was up walking around :crutch:shortly after she got to her room. Late last night she called and said she was feeling great and happy that it was not a horrible :drama:experience. She is officially ready to put on her go go boots and start flirting. She also told me to watch out becuase she is ready to start boxing.:boxing:

Her mom will be able to see her in about there in another hour. :welcome: You know they have to clean all of her drooollllll from sleeping so hard.:drama: She is probably asking for another:cocktail: cocktail.

    Hey Puddinpie welcome back, it is always an inspiration to see your post. Stocky said that chocolate coconut shake was great but I forgot the company. I know they are listed on Obesity Help. Kee- are we skipping meals, you know that's not the answer Monday's meals con't I lost my mind yesterday morning eating everything....see previous post....I don't know if I posted the potato chips for lunch anyhow. Early dinner: 1/2 cup chili, salad, jello Late dinner: mashed potatoes and peas (restriction would not allow the pork chop) Tuesday B: slimfast 180 S: protein bar/apple 250 L: protein bar/gatorade 345 D: mashed potaoes, peas, jello

    Both After a few bites Nope Anything to tenderize meat should help. (Marinade) Don't eat things you know won't go down Putting Water on top of the pb, just makes it worst, it just sits on top, it doesn't go down.
  18. Magic I am so sorry to hear you have not restriction but until you do you will have to work hard to get where you want to be. A month out from surgery, you know you should not be eating steak and cheese. Just because you can eat it does not mean to do so. LIVE LIKE YOU ARE BANDED. Pretend it is doing it's job and drink a shake for Breakfast, eat a Protein bar for snack, eat a salad with chicken for lunch, drink no carb, no sugar drinks and lots of Water. Leave the carbs alone or eat them in moderation. Prepare a meal plan and don't forget to move your body. Walk in place during commercials or dance to 3 songs in a row. Come on Magic it is not easy anyway you look at it, with or without the restriction. To much restirction is hell and no restriction is also.:nervous

    March Lap Band Meeting Roll Call

    Stocky thank you again..... you are the bomb. Thank you Karen for putting together our monthly meetings. This meeting in particular was awesome. We had lots of time to spend together, very informative on finding out what Protein drinks and bars we like. I think South Beach was the winner. The food was great without the wait, the bartenders did a great job....Stocky and LSasha. Thanks you guys for being patient with me, I am not a professional measurement takerer. If there is something else you want to measure, feel free to give me numbers and of what and I will jot them down. It was great meeting Phyllis and Naiomi (sp). Everyone brings something great to the table. LSasha and Kee you guys have been doing great with your eating and it shows. Kee you are not going to need surgery at the rate you are losing. LOL :omg: Barbara and Leona it was great seeing you guys and thank you Leona for blowing us away with your AWESOME voice. "Thank You":eek: Congratulations Connie you are looking and good with your new band, your scars are lovely. Thanks guys for taking the pictures. It is going to be so important for us to document our weight loss for encouragement. There is nothing like seeing where you came from. LESSON LEARNED: South Beach Bars are great:hungry: High, lean protein and veggie meals and Meal Replacement bars and shakes is key to losing consistantly. Drinking Water and no calorie drinks is best.:spit: We have a great MD support group:grouphug: GOALS: Can you guys please put your goals here so we can continue to encourge each other. Connie is so right we are a great bunch of people and we are here to support each other in any way we can.:scared: If you want someone to tell you what to do....just come to me. I love telling people what to do. Ok here is the start .....I know you didn't ask but I can't resist:D . 1. Water drink at least 8 cups of water a day 2. Eat Breakfast, not a big ol breakfast but something 3. Move your body whenever you can (5 minutes of dancing:Banane20: per day to start with) Report back!!!!!!:clap2: :clap2:
