  1. Come on LSasha help me out. I don't get to weight in until next year and when I go back I want to be in the 3's. I am not a "resolution" person, so instead of waiting until next year, let's practice the protien train. This is where you do "atkins" LOL, you cut back your carbs and load on protien. I don't have to have bread but I do like my sugar. I believe the rules are 1 leafy green veg a day and Protein for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I believe the carb limit is suppose to be 20. If you go over it or if you don't eat right post it. We are here to support each other and accountability is key, therefore, let's be honest. Personally I am not going to do this everyday but people seem to do it 1 week at a time. My excuse is that I need to go to the grocery store and I will not be going back into a grocery store until mid next week.

  4. I tried to post this yesterday but it wouldn't let me. Babyjane my heart goes out to you and if there is anything that I can do let me know. I can check with you to see if you are drinking your Water, eating Breakfast, having more veggies, exercising ie hand weights and more. You don't have to wait for surgery. Somebody coined the phrase long time ago.....Live Like You're Banded.....water, exercise, Protein.....

    Wednesday I did 11 laps in the hall when I started out saying I was going to do 5 with 10 being the real goal but did 11 because I could. Yeahhhhhhh ME 5 pounds GET OFF OF ME!!!!!!!     Going forward is a wonderful thing. I feel good again but during the time I was not losing was a good learning experience for me. I want to lose 5 pounds:scales: this week so bad but I will give it 2 weeks if necessary because when I take it off I don't want to come back. Go Barbara you are almost there.     :update: Stocky is fiesty today, she saw Dr. M and he said everything went well. She also had a barrium swallow done this morning. Hopefully she will be released from the hospital soon.

    Congratulations...I can relate. I use to get food on my clothes everyday but one day I had on white and I was shocked I went home clean. It was because I didn't eat like I use to. I only ate one time at work and that was unusual.

    Thank you ladies for being excited with me!!!!!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Ethel thank you again, I do post daily except the weekends because I need that accountability. I love TOPS, I have been with them for 3 years. They are such motivators and encouragers, I just love them all. TOPS is only $24 a year and then monthly dues, which depends on your chapter it's $3 for us. We weigh in once a week and the anticipation is something else. LOL At 140 pounds off your words mean a lot because you have been there and I know it is attainable.
