    Who Wants to Walk

    Where are we walking Saturday?:scared: I think the temp is suppose to drop and the Cherry Bloosom Parade is tomorrow so the park is off the list. We could park downtown somewhere and walk but we won't be able to keep any kind of speed. Weather is suppose to be 58 tomorrow but you know the morning will probably be 48. Any suggestions?     Well what do you call junk food? Of course you can gain the weight back but if you look at our stats they look pretty darn good. As Puddin said it sounds like you have band people confused with RNY people. Sugar does not make us sick. Broccoli can be hard to get down with good restricition if not cooked to mush. Rice as Puddin said swells but some poeople can eat it. You are right, we don't eat a lot that is why we are losing weight and happy. If you could only drink soup for the rest of like to lose weight, would you be happy????

    Go Puddinpie - Revelations are so wonderful....it's good that you can eat less and be full. My problem is that I don't always want to stop. I didn't get enough Water in yesterday because I was eating. :faint: Keep up the great work Puddin!!! Hey did you sign up for the Spring Boot Camp 2006?

    New Plan Wed- Track (at least 3 miles) did 3 1/2 miles with Stocky Now my feet hurt a little and my right knee wants to give out periodically. I may have to take that break today and walk tomorrow.....I will see. If the sun is out I will go and see how far I can walk without hurting myself further. I will look into getting a material knee brace so I don't hyperextend my knee. I can't wait to see that 3 pounds off. Thurs-Track (4 miles) did 2 1/2 miles with Pooky, I tricked her to get up and get out. After about 3/4 of a mile she losened up. I gotta do what I gotta do. My knee felt fine while walking so I just need to get a wrap for it. Fri-Maybe a break I will see Well it is raining today but I will probably walk at least a mile at home and do some weight training at home Sat-Point (3 miles) Cherry Blossom Parade so I think we will go elsewhere to walk maybe Allen Park which I think is 1.7 miles 1 time around. I need to be at the Point for my Pooky to volunteer for the wheelchair tennis program so I may walk then...I don't know traffic and parking is going to horrible. I will see..... Sun-Track (4 miles)

    What can you do and when can you do it? Can you go walking outside, can you take a class, can you do an exercise tape, can you go play with the kids, can you jump on hubby, can you dance during commercials, can you punch your arms during a tv show.......what can you do:confused: ? You have to do something you like so you can build up to what you need to do..... You can take those leaves and shove em (sing it with a Willy Nelson twang) :heh: what are you still doing with leaves? Girl get out there and get ta rackin.

  9. Been there done that. I had my gallbladder removed several years ago. The pain is no picnic.....glad you are all better.

    Exercise Support Needed...please!

    Your weight loss is awesome!!! Alison #1 I was most certainly there. Big belly, back hurt, out of breath and embarrassed to be seen. Guess what I was 459 and now I am 403 well hopefully 399 by now but anyhow. Make a plan....Set Goals.....Just Do It Walk Every Day 10 min Ride Bike Every Day 5 min Increase these a little bit at a time and it will get easier and you feel great!!!     Puddinpie it may not have been the amout but what.....you said that bread in your first post. Try not eating the typical band unfriendly foods and see if you still pb. Bread, rice, dry chicken etc. For me I am tight in the morning and anything can get stuck and make me slime or pb. I'm stuck now from eating a boiled egg white, the yolk is too dry. Appreciate the warning signs ....a burp, hiccup, feeling like the food is still in the lower part of your esphogus. Are you drinking while eating? Thursday B:Boiled egg, orange 100 S:cereal bar 130 L: corn chips 140 D: salad, steak umm, would not stop there 2 pieces of rye toast w/spaghetti sauce and cheese- at real slow Then I went walking and was stuffed. April May June approximately 55 days/8weeks till June.......:eek: WOW bathingsuites, cook outs, shorts, short sleeves, hot days, outings and it doesn't stop there....July, August, September are also hot....     6 days post surgery.....need encouragement

    I had to take high blood pressure meds and I crushed the ones I could and put them in pudding. As far as the uncrushable ones check with your pharmacist and your doctor to see if there is a liquid or a crushable pill. The gas takes time to go away but I agree with the chewable xtra strength gas xx and walking. Keep sipping and sf popsicles and fudgesicles really help with the hunger also. Are you taking your chewable Vitamins? They helped me with my hunger also. how long are you on liquids? Keep up the great work 214, I wish.

    Pb?

    Yes you can have a pb before a fill. Everyone experiences the band a little diffrently. I don't know if it was 4 weeks after surger but you can eat more and more until your next fill.

  25. I see you are ready....that was too cute. I'm ready too. I will no longer go without a fill for more then 2 months. I didn't loose anything during the first boot camp. I just didn't have the restriction I needed but I also had not learned how to use my band properly. I have learned my lesson and I am ready to kick some FATT BUTT......as Jamie Foxx said WHORAHHHHH;).....YEAHHHH
