Sometime I don't know what to do with myself when I would normally EAT. The weekends use to consist of food.....where ever I would go, I would have some type of fast food. We won't even discuss going to the mall......I dare not say the treat because then they will be in my head. What do you do on the weekends besides clean up?

Yep I feel that way ....sometimes.....but I have also made a decision, had the surgey and thankful that I have the band. I can see it being the best choice for ME especially in the future. I have learned to get my fills, exercise and am working hard on getting the portion and food right.:nervous

Helppppp I won't stop eating today I had a cheese stick this morning 7:30 1/2 atkins shake 8:30 couple of bites of an apple 9:30 finished the apple 10:15 Small salad(a couple of bites, it's still sitting here) I ate the cucumber, pieces of tomato and 2 pieces of broccoli out of it. Ohhhhh I forgot to say the first part of the veggies came up :puke:and then I had a cheesestick and 2 pieces of boiled ham. That darn apple was blocking everything. I've probably had about 700 calories just eating this healthy stuff. Blahhhhh Let's add to that 700 calories for dinner or stuff hot tomales 210 2 peppermint patties 320 grd turkey, potatoes 300? 4 french fries 80? 6 skinny freeze pops 150 Total of 1610 calories!!!

I forgot that I learned how to do a basic crochet stitch and I did that while I was home recovering. Yeah I took off extra time just to baby me. I guess I should take up something for home. -

I belong to TOPS and that is where I weigh in weekly. Julie I know what you mean about that body temp because I don't sweat like I use to and I am loving it. Sometimes I'm just sitting here at work and I want to exercise. I want to go for a walk outside, run in place, do some sit ups but I would look absolutly crazy.

Yeah those dressing room mirrors can make you laugh and cry. They tell the truth so we have to listen. I normally end up saying to myself "what were you thinking" yes sometimes go straight home sniviling in the car.

I shocked myself when I first did 3 miles but because I was with the crew I was able to do it. They talk about me because I go into a mode where I don't want anyone to touch me or talk to me and I can't talk.....I just want to finish. Hopefully one day I will be able to get pass that. Walk with a friend just to walk and keep going. 10,000 steps is 5 miles is using a pedometer and I usually do a 20 minute mile. I use to be able to do a 15 mile but I think I really want to be able to increase my length of walking. I want to be able to walk 5 miles straight. That should be about 1 hour and 40 minutes. I know I can do it if I take a break or two but I want to be able to go pass 3 miles without want to stop.

I feel good that I walked yesterday and it is actually getting easier mentally. Wed-3 miles at da point and arm weights at hm:)

Congratulations on your band. Can you give us a little personal info. How much did you weigh, how much do you weigh and do you still get fills, do you exercise......you know just a lil tiny bit of info into your life.....LOL

I am so sorry to hear about the accident. You did everything you could do and I understand about getting a new car note due to someone else's negligence. Have the ambulance chasers called yet? Have you seeked out an auto accident lawyer, they can be helpful seeing that people were injured.
