Colorado- I think we have made it pretty clear that we don't care about your opinion...and obviously what you said did "offend" us or we would not be so antagonistic to you. Actually, it is probably the fact that until now, you have never replied to any of our posts or come back to defend yourself that has made us suspicious. And FYI, any surgeon that knows his ass from a hole in the ground would have prescribed you something for nausea before you even left the hospital...DUH. That is a normal standard of care for a post op patient. Post op patients are usually nauseous from the anesthesia! So don't act like is was some huge deal that your surgeon was nice enough to call in something for you for nausea the night of your surgery because if he had covered his bases to begin with you wouldn't have even needed to call him. And I talk to doctors all night while I am working in the ICU...I really don't need to call yours to "verify" that he can be reached 24/7. Why you think I would even care enough to do that is beyond me. Best of luck to you.... Oh, and yes, I am not even a little bitchy this week- I am A LOT bitchy. Hasn't anyone ever told you that ICU nurses are a bunch of bitchy divas sweetie??

Jamies, but my mom needs a butt kicking too!!! So, I set my alarm early so I would be up to get the mail to hopefully get my missing paycheck so I could take it to the bank before I go to work. The mail is always here by now. Not today! I called the post office and they said they had to split the routes all up and they will have carriers out until 7 and 8 pm. Great. Could one thing possibly go RIGHT this week? I am superstitious about going to work tonight!!! Oh, and I just read my work email and found out we are getting our 4th new nurse manager that we have had in the 2 1/2 years I have worked there. Everytime we get a new nurse manager, everything changes all over again. It sucks! Really, someday I will quit whining about EVERYTHING, I promise!! I just feel like nothing is going right lately!!:thumbup:

Yes, I feel terrible for her also. This is hard enough for her already, to know she has to leave for a year to go THERE, and leave her two girls behind. I know she is scared witless. Mommy dearest is not helping matters at all. If she makes my sister cry one more time.....

Ok ladies-it is OFFICIAL. Everyone around me has gone CRAZY. My sister just called me and told me that my lunatic mother called her Lt. Colonel ANONYMOUSLY (but he has caller ID, duh!) telling him that my sister has gone crazy because she wants to deploy, and that she can't leave her kids, and that she is having marital problems. I was like "WTF????????" Did she not stop to think that she is not going to get much sympathy from the Lt. Colonel because he DOESN'T CARE? He told her every Marine has to deploy, and that the Marine Corp does not care about her marriage! Waa haa haa!! Seriously, what is she thinking??? What did she think she was possibly going to gain from this? She needs to quit messing with my sisters life!! She is 26 years old, I am pretty sure that qualifies as being an adult!!! My poor sister got called into his office after being on the range all day, and he was like "Some woman just called here anonymously from this number, blah blah blah." Talk about mortification for her! I don't even know what to say to my mom, but I cannot let this go. I just can't. She needs to be stopped!!!!:thumbup: But it works out ok for me because now my sister really won't want her to come visit! (Oooh, I am a horrible daughter!)

BUT Josh Hartnett is even BETTER eye candy....I DROOL over him. Even when he has a unibrow!!! I know you can't help yourself, it's ok! I looked for the BFL book at the library when they were starting this, and they didn't have it. I stopped at the library near the hospital after my therapy appt yesterday, and they had literally just gotten it in, so I checked it out. Now I just have to get the motivation to read it. It doesn't bode well for me doing the challenge if I don't have enough motivation to read the book.:thumbup: Good luck with those teenagers!! I very clearly remember being a teenager and my friends and I were rotten. Now that my friends have kids that are teenagers we are absolutely HORRIFIED remembering the things we did when we were that age!!
