My favorite new hobby is to shop at the second hand stores. i only held onto two shirts from my highest weight. I trade with friends, donate back. Getting to the point that I am smaller than my friends so thinking about selling on email or looking for web site to trade.

My surgery date is Oct 28th but today was crazy day in this crazy journey. Last week my surgeons office tells me that they have not received a support letter from my primary care doctor, so i call to get this taken care off, they tell me they will get back to me. So, today they call me to tell me that my doctor supports the surgery but doesn't thinks it is necessary to write the letter. I call the doctors office back to tell them it is necessary and they tell me that the doctor is out of the country until October 13( too late to get insurance approval by the 28th). They said that they could try to get the doctor to send a letter before they have no contact with her until the 13th. Thank god she sent the letter so they can send to the insurance for approval. I have my pre surgery check up with my primary care, my pre op appointments set, and last nutritionist appointment set to start my liver reduction diet. Then on the 28th I get my birthday present, my surgery. Nervous but excited. -

I have a friend that is having the surgery too and she ordered different Protein drinks, she bought the drinks not the shakes but they taste good. It is what I plan on getting for my clear liquids(just no red). The have 40 grams of protein too.

I am scheduled for Oct 28th, this my birthday present to myself. I can't think of anything better to do on your birthday but give yourself a healthier life. am a little nervous but excited. Two weeks before surgery i have to have shakes for 2 meal and one meal with Protein and vegetable, then liquids the day before the surgery. I am from NY. -
I was a Mountain Dew and diet Mountain Dew drinker for years before I stopped drinking soda and they are one of the few sodas that taste the same with or without the carbonation. Either way I wouldn't want to risk all of my hard work for soda. I think that the isopure drinks taste just like a soda and come in several different flavors, plus they have like 50 grams of protein per bottle
