Thank you everyone for your kind words.I told my husband last night about a cousin who had very negative things to say about my decision to have wls and he got angry.this morning he went to the store to buy the foods that I need for the liver reduction diet! I guess he saw that it was hurtful to feel like he was against me, so I hope it continues -

Exactly!!! I'm on a supervised diet that I hate, can only have 1200 calories a day, keep in mind I haven't had surgery yet so I can easily eat 1200 calories per meal!!

I certainly hope to, I'm going to remember their negativity when I feel like giving up, that will be my motivation

I am, things are better with him.he says he is scared of the risk of surgery but I keep trying to tell him the risk of obesity -

I just posted the same topic.I can't stand that people think we haven't tried everything! Clearly we have or we wouldn't be on this step.the same people are going to be telling you how nice you look later!!! Just don't say anything about your personal journey to them, that's what I'm going to try to do.it's going to hard tho, because it's my husband and best friend who think I just need to hit the gym -

Hello everyone. I started the process to have wls about six months ago.I didn't have any support from my friends or spouse so I gave up.however I realize that this is my life and I really want to be healthy.I have an appointment on Monday to meet with my surgeon.I've made a decision not to tell anyone I'm having the surgery until right before.What do y'all think of this, advice please
