I am a mom of two daughters ages 22 and 14. I have been married for 13 years, with current spouse 16 years total! My oldest daughter lives close to town and in a relationship with a man and his child they are raising. My youngest is starting high school soon. My husband currently works out of state and visits often.

13 years ago I was married wearing a size 4 wedding dress that was to big on me! Depression, lifestyle changes for better, full hysterectomy in 2012 and then car accident and put on meds which made me tired and hungry consistently add the contant pain which made me inactive the entire time and the loss of energy and the result is this! Comfort was food.... i love food but I love me and my family more! I tried a gym membership but was in pain and overly tirfed from meds... so sleep and eat and I was comforted.

I have a great support group with my family and friends. I looked into surgery myself (insurance wont pay... i am not sick enough.. prediabetic only). I choose to give myself the gift of a valuable life. I don't want to be embarrassed of myself and not go to school functions, missing out on pictures with my kids since I refuse them. What if my oldest decides to get married soon and we have grandkids. I do not want to miss out on their life and events because of my health and no energy!
