Hi Everyone,
my name is Carole. I had a gastric band after being overwieght since being a teenager, along with having 3 children and to be honest!! over eating!! I ended up at 19 stone.. It effected my health, my job, my self esteem, my confidence and my marraige and so i decided to seek help.
after much research i decided to have my operation in 2007 in belgium my Dr marc foquet.. I recovered really well and started to lose weight by 2010 I had lost 7 stone and by january 2014 was down to my goal weight of 10 stone 7lbs (119lbs lost in total)
Disaster struck when i felt convinced that i could manage to hold my weight if i had a partial de-fill. I had 2 mils removed and within a month i had gained 18lbs so immediately had a mil put back in.
It has left me at the same weight, but as much as I try i can not seem to lose any more. I think I need to have the other mil put back in my band asap.. I feel a total failure with no control.
