WHOA!!!!! You look awesome!!!! I am so happy for you!! I hope I have the confidence to do something like that when I reach my goal!! You look great and I'm looking forward to seeing more pics! -
That's a good one, classic!!! "Low" by Flo Rida is a good one too (you know, apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur........)! It's funny, my 17 year old niece got me listening to that one and now I love it. I love all kinds of music........country, rock, rap, pop, gospel......I love it all!

Please don't worry about scaring people off. I look at your story as an inspiration. You seem like you have a lot of drive in you and I know you will succeed with your band. You never know who may NEED to hear your story, for whatever reason. Again, thanks for sharing and good luck to you on your lapband journey.

The Natural Diet Solution For PCOS.......
georgia girl replied to georgia girl's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Well I've had a bad weekend with food too! I guess I'm having "last meal" syndrome, lol! Well, Monday is a new day and I'm excited too! I'll just have to eat what I can get here too! I just don't want to drive a long way from home to get groceries! That would get pretty old! What do you think about the book? It makes a lot of sense to me and I think the authors are very educated about PCOS and the symptoms that come with it. -
And the support begins...

Welcome Kas-e! Congrats on your surgery date. Susan made a good point, if you are not already exercising, try adding it in and hopefully you will drop enough weight to keep your scheduled date. Good luck to you and keep us posted! -
Just got my surgery date
georgia girl replied to goldson1's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I know you said you have been lurking for a while, but I would like to officially welcome you to LBT. Congratulations on your surgery date! Please let us know if you have any questions. Good luck to you and keep us posted! -
Turler Wow, what in inspirational story! With all you have gone through, it's just amazing. Many people would have given up but you are still fighting to get your health back. About 5 years ago I was having some "bathroom" problems so I went to a gastroenterologist and he decided to do a colonoscopy on me (since my mother is a colon cancer survivor). Well I had a polyp that they removed. When the biopsy came back, he said it was a precancerous polyp. His guess was, that in another year, it would have turned into cancer. To think that I almost overlooked the problem thinking it was probably hemorrhoids or something. Your story really touched me, thank you for sharing it!

Spring Into Action Weight Loss Challenge
georgia girl replied to renewedhope's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Thank you Renewed! I am trying to get a fill next week, so that may mess up the diet plan a little because I will be on liquids for a few days if I get the fill. No biggie though, I'm still gonna start on Monday as originally planned and take it from there. I'm excited about this and I hope it helps us both. Keep up the good work girl! Oh, good luck with your challenge! I hope you win! -
Hope you like it! Let us know how it turns out!

Dr. John Bagnato - Bagnato Bandits
georgia girl replied to georgia girl's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Oneder Woman I am glad things went well with your father. Hopefully your mother will be supportive too. If she expresses concern about the surgery, just go over the facts and explain to her what exactly will happen. People often freak out when they hear the words "weight loss surgery". Hopefully once she hears the details, she will be happy for you. Hope everything works out with your mother and let us know how things are going. -

Glad your trip went well and you found what you were looking for! I have felt restriction many times but it seems to fade everytime. I really thought my last fill was "the one" but it has faded too. I feel a little restriction every now and then but I am looking forward to getting another one. I hope to get Jonathan's appt on the 10th. I am glad you are feeling restriction and things are going well for you. Glad you're back! -

Hi Jamie, nice to meet you! Congrats on your surgery and good luck to you! -
Sounds good ladies! Thanks for sharing, can't wait to try them!

I've never seen it at my local grocery store, but it could be because I've never actually looked specifically for it. I'll look next time I go!

I hate that I AM the dishwasher! We rent our home and it's really aggravating because our last house had a dishwasher and then we moved and no more dishwasher. Our kitchen is soooo small now, I really don't think a dishwasher would even fit. I usually wash dishes about 2-3 times a day because I can't stand for dirty dishes to be left out very long. eh, that's life I guess!

I say post them! Sounds like it would be good!!

Thanks for the tip! I use pesto and light laughing cow cheese and I love it made that way. I've also used a spinach dip on my roll-ups too!

What in the world is falafle? I'm not a great cook but I consider myself to be okay at it. I've never heard of this and I am interested to know what it is. -
Spring Into Action Weight Loss Challenge
georgia girl replied to renewedhope's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Okay, I'm taking a break from exercising this weekend. I'll start back on Monday. Yesterday I went to the gym and did 15 min on the treadmill, and 30 min on the elliptical. My arms are really sore from the strength training on Thursday, so hopefully by Monday they won't be. Renewed, you are doing so well! I've really gotta get serious and start losing again! -
That's exactly how mine looked! Usually it's more of a white creamy looking dip with the green spinach throughout. Even the saucy part was green! It pretty much tasted like I was eating pure spinach with no seasonings! It's been a couple of months since I've gotten it and I was just sooooo disappointed. Since we're complaining about Applebee's, I'll add another thing that bugs me about them. Has anyone else ever noticed that their menu changes like once a month? They get you hooked on something, then they take it away! That really irks me! My hubby tried to the cheddar jack mac & cheese with his steak, and they took it off the menu! He's says he's done with Applebee's, but I don't think so. He still loves their steaks.

The Natural Diet Solution For PCOS.......

Renewed, Does your locol grocer carry a variety of organic fruits and veggies? I just don't know where to find organic foods. I even called the one produce market in my town, and they don't even have organic fruits and veggies. I may end up having to do some of my grocery shopping out of town. There is a Publix about 50 minutes from me, they would probably have organic stuff?
