LOL Susan! I definitely learned my lesson. The weather can be deceiving though, my sisters' wedding was at the end of March and it wasn't very hot and it was cloudy. I usually always wear sunscreen.......just had a moment of stupidity, lol.

Hi everyone! Have any of you fellow PCOS'ers heard of the book by Nancy Dunn and Bill Slater called "The Natural Diet Solution for PCOS and Infertility". I've had the book for a while and I have just now decided to start this diet. I've been talking with Renewedhope (Amy) about it and she is on board to try it too! I just wanted to open this up for all PCOS'ers to join in. Renewedhope and I are starting the diet on Monday. If anyone is interested in joining us, you can go to Nancy Dunn's website and order a book. It is on back order right now, but there is a downloadable version you can use until the book arrives. I haven't read the whole book yet, I plan on doing a lot of reading this weekend so I'll be ready to start on Monday. I never order gift baskets online. I find them to be way over priced for such a small amount of product. I always make my own. You can find good looking baskets for a decent price and fill it up with whatever you want. What kind of food does he like, other than cheese?

I have used the Atkins bars too. I really liked them and Alexandra is right, they kept me full for a good while!

Welcome Bagweaver! I'm glad you found us. Congrats on your surgery! How have you been doing since surgery? Are you healing well? This site has been a Godsend for me. I don't know what I would do without it. I have a very supportive family, but nobody understands what you are going through like other people who face the same struggles. It is nice to meet you and I hope you have a speedy recovery!

Ha, that reminds me of my sister's wedding a few weeks ago. She got married at the beach and we stayed there the whole week before her wedding. Like an idiot, I laid out a couple of days before the wedding and I got so sunburne!. I looked like a lobster! I was so burnt that I could barely walk from the swelling. My legs looked huge! I really think I had sun poisoning or something. And to top that, I had to sing at the wedding! I'm sure I looked like a freak up there singing! I really should have known better. I burn really easily, I always have.

I am definitely going to get a miracle suit when I get closer to goal, especially if they work like they claim to. I'll use all the help I can get, lol!

Hey everyone! Well, tonight was craving ice cream sooooo bad. Luckily, I didn't have any in the house. But, I did have some individual containers of WW Amaretto Cheesecake yogurt in the refrigerator, so I decided to put one in the freezer for a few hours just to see what it would taste like. It was very good! It totally calmed my craving! Sometimes I just want a frozen treat, this is a great alternative. Just thought I would share.

The only way I can eat oysters is fried.....fried oysters does sound pretty darn good to me right now. I just got fill Thursday and I've been on liquids......eeeh. But I do get to start eating some food tomorrow....YAY!

My birthday was April 16th and my DH surprised me and told me he was going to order me a bodybugg, YAY! I've been wanting one for months. I am going to order it Friday (payday). I am sooooo excited! I won't bother ya'll with questions right now. I will go through the thread and read up on it first. Just wanted to share. Renewed and I have been talking about getting one and I am so excited we are both getting one soon. I can't wait to see how it motivates us to move!

I went and checked the box, lol. After I saw your post I started second guessing mine. They do have 6g of sugar and 10g of Protein. I really like them. I am going to look and see if they have a whole box of the cinnamon raisin (only 2 of them in the variety pack), they are my favorite!

Thanks for the link. They really are very nice looking. I wonder if they really work like they say they do. A one peice will be the only style I will ever wear probably, or possibly a tankini in the future (way down the road).

My surgeon provided great information. I actually had to take a quiz-type thing before my surgery. They also send a mandatory video via email for me to watch, it's called Emmi. They send it at different stages before and after your surgery. I already know most of the stuff on the video (thanks to this website) but it's really good for the ones that haven't gotten info from anywhere else.

That could be a possiblity for me. I'll have to look next time I go.
