LOL. I stayed on for about 5 minutes after that post and went to bed. I must not have signed out, lol. I think C25K is making me tired enough to go to bed early for a change....

Watchout~ Hi! It sounds like you are doing really well. I'm right there with ya, my legs are already feeling sore. I imagine I won't be able to walk tomorrow, lol. I'm so glad you are joining us. You are doing really well. Keep up the good work! Renewed~ Girl, you could never let me down. You've been inspiring me for months. You are rockin' your weight loss and I'm proud of you. Kudos to you for getting up and putting on those running shoes. I know you'll feel really good afterwards. Keep on keepin' on!

Okay, so I did day 2 of week 1 today and I have to say it was a little easier than day 1. I was able to finish the entire jog today! YAY!!!! I downloaded the podrunner interval music today and it made it much easier. I used a stopwatch (and no music) Tuesday and found myself staring it the whole time..... After about the 5th interval, I found myself having to talk myself through the rest of it. But that's okay because it worked!! When I felt like giving up, I would tell myself just keep going until I get to that tree or that speed bump. I feel such a feeling of accomplishment today! Everyone is doing great! Keep up the good work!!

Welcome Kathy! I am right there with you. I just started Tuesday so I will be doing day 2 of week 1 today. I was (and still am) worried about my size and running. In fact, I do more waddling than running, lol. But that's okay. The important thing is that we are moving. I will probably repeat week 1 so don't feel like you have to move on unless you are ready. Day 1 was pretty rough but I am hopeful that today will be much better. I run outside. It's hot as hades here too, lol. But, I don't have a treadmill and I really don't feel comfortable doing it at the gym right now. If I had a treadmill, I would definitely use it because the heat is just so bad. I'm really glad you joined. Now I have a buddy who is just starting like me. Good luck with your first day of C25K!

It's been pretty quite lately. I was wondering about everyone as well... Leslie~ I'm glad you're feeling better. Hopefully you've found your sweet spot! I'm doing pretty good. I do still have some restriction, just not quite enough. I go back on the 29th for Leslie to measure my fluid again. I'm still hoping it was a miscalculation somewhere. I started the Couch to 5K this week and man...it's HARD. I was a little apprehensive about doing it but I'm glad I did. Hopefully I'll be jogging like a pro in no time, lol. Bagweaver~ I hope your next fill does the trick! -
Thanks for all the responses. I did end up making some the other day and they went down fine. No problems at all. I'm glad because I was missing eating eggs.

That might be a good idea, especially after you are banded. I've heard horror stories of people swallowing their gum and having to have it surgically removed because it won't go down.

Bonnie, the DDR sounds so fun! We just got a Wii last weekend and we are trying to decide which games to get. That sounds like a good one. I just noticed you are doing C25K before your surgery too! I'm so proud of y'all for getting started before surgery. I can tell y'all are going to be huge successes!!

It's pretty bad when you know exactly who is doing this without even having to search. -

Posting to say that my body is in pain! Ugh, the joys of exercising... -
Thanks Cutie! I love your SN BTW....too cute! I wish I had some booty, lol. I wasn't very blessed in the booty department :frown:. I noticed your surgery date is less than a month away. I applaud you and Lyn (and others too I'm sure) for starting this before your surgery. That shows A LOT of commitment and dedication.
