    LOL! I have enough trouble with my 2 year old son....can't imagine 6!! As much as I hate going to Wal-Mart, it seems like I can't stay out of that place.....drives me NUTS!!

    Smothered Crockpot Meatloaf!!

    LOL! I have to say this was the best meatloaf I've ever had. Totally different from traditional meatloaf, but very good.

    Can Ya'll Eat Soup?

    IF you continue eating soup after you get good restriction, it's best to choose a chunky soup. I love Wendy's Chili. It's hearty and it keeps me satisfied for a while. Thin, creamy soups will go right through your band. Just hang in there for a while longer. I promise you see a difference when you get good restricion.

    Breakfast Ideas

    Greek yogurt has a lot of Protein in it. I find myself eating it more and more. I don't care for it plain, so I add a tbsp of honey to mine. You could also mix Cereal with yogurt instead of milk. I do this because if I use milk it goes straight down and doesn't keep me satisfied very long. Aubrie~ Love all your breakfast ideas!

    Today B'fast~ low carb slim fast Lunch~ 1/3 c. canned chicken mixed with 3 tbsp sausage gravy Snack~ chips and salso con queso Dinner~ Weight Watcher roasted potatoes and broccoli w/ cheese sauce (about 3/4 of it)
  14. I've been doing pretty good with my water. I haven't been getting 100 ounces but I've been making sure I get at least 64 ounces. I am going to try to gradually work up to the 100 ounces.

    Thanks! Yeah, I changed it. I like to change things up every now and then... I did another day of week 3 this morning. I usually run in the afternoon or evening. I didn't feel like I had a lot of energy today but I ran through it. Anyone else notice they don't have much energy in the mornings? I guess it's probably because I haven't had much food. I'm usually a little tight in the mornings, so I can't eat solid food. Today I drank a low carb slim fast.

    Not sure why, but I was sooo tight yesterday. Couldn't really eat anything solid, which is bad because I ended up eating a Blizzard! Yesterday: B'fast~ low carb slim fast Lunch~ 2 bites of taco beef, 1 triscuit Dinner~ about 1/4 cup of refried beans Snack~ oreo blizzard

    Sorry Leslie. Hope it goes better this afternoon. Stuff gets in the way sometimes, but as long as you keep going and don't give up, you haven't failed. Hope your day gets better and good luck with your run this afternoon.

    tootie and Leslie~ Good luck with week 4!! Kathy~ Great NSV! Jeannie~ I usually either do some strength training or play the Wii Fit on my off running days. I swim sometimes too. Swimming is a good one, it really gets my heart pumping. Renewed~ Ya'll are in my prayers. I'm so glad your mom is going with you. If I lived closer, I'd go with you. This week will be a hard one for you, just know we are here for you! Well, I'll be doing another day of week 3 today. I think I will move on the week 4 Wednesday. I'm pretty nervous about week 4 because of the increase of running time and the decrease of walking time in between. The walking really helps me get my breathing under control, especially the 3 minute walk after the 3 minute run. Mind over matter, mind over matter, mind over matter...if I keep thinking that, maybe it will work, lol!

    This thread was going strong for a couple of days and now it has died out again, lol. How is everyone??? Did everyone survive the bad weather? The wind got pretty bad here. We must have had some roof damage because we have water leaking in our house. The man we rent from is supposed to be sending someone out to fix it today. Hope you are all doing okay!

    Mamato~ Sorry things are so rough right now. You are ALWAYS going to be welcome here. You are one of us and there's no going back, lol! I do understand why you feel that way though. When my knee wouldn't allow me to run, I kinda felt the same way. It's hard watching everyone else progress when you can't, and hard to stay on track too. ((hugs)) smsmithart~ I agree with Kathy...slow down! 6 mph is fast! Work on time right now. Speed will come later. Take care and good luck! Kathy~ Sounds like ya'll had a lot of fun! The food sounds wonderful....except the chicken feet, lol! Glad you had a good time!
  25. Yeah, I have some family in the farming business, so I'm really glad we got a good rain....we definitely needed it! It's the wind I don't like. I've always been afraid of strong wind and tornadoes. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
